Great cinema with special events for curzon members like Q&A with the director. Good bar area both upstairs and down- gets busy so go early!
Nice central cinema . Cafe upstairs and bar downstairs give it a good ambience while waiting to watch a film or go just a drink with a friend. Film rates a little high as with central London venues.
Lovely cinema , small screening rooms but this needn't be a hindrance (THX certified, so it sounds fantastic). Coffee is harsh, strong and burnt roast -- but the cafe is open late , if you're desperate.
Lovely cinema , really comfortable and not as hectic as the big chains. Great choice of indie films .
Love it! Indie/arthouse cinema and very classy amidst the Soho buzz. Go downstairs for a quick and quiet drink prior the film starts. ❤️????❤️
Really loved this cinema . In an era where blockbusters dominate cinemas this is the place to enjoy indie films and actually have an 'experience'.
Their selection of arthouse movies is the best in the city . They also host regular Q&A sessions with directors, film-makers and photographers . Read more
Sound mix within the screening rooms is excellent for a room that size. Seats aren't that comfortable but that adds to the charm of an independent theatre somwhat.
Very cool cinema , nice vibe and design-it's like going down a cave . The coffee in the bar is pretty average and the waiters are a tad cheeky but I guess it's part of the charm.
Possibly my favorite cinema in London . Student ID+matinee ticket is the best deal in town - only £5
Cracking cinema with well-equipped cafe and bar from which drinks can be taken into the screening rooms . Highly recommended.
Cool and Classy , with a stellar line up of showings, this is the place to go if you want to see the best of independen and arthouse film . For more reviews check out Curzon Soho's MyVillage page. Read more
Coffee , chocolate and cakes from Konditor & Cook are fantastic. Grab them and head to mezzanine for comfy sofas and free (if sporadic) wifi .
Not only a good place for a movie , also a great place for a quiet drink in Soho in the downstairs bar .
Good for a coffee and a catchup downstairs before watching an international movie . Great place.
Their selection of films are often better than the larger chains, although they have ticket prices to match.
Sugar rush. Range and sweet things as many as the interesting people one can watch from this cafés street corner position.
Cafe bar downstairs has lots of fab sofas making it a great place to grab a cuppa or a drink and chill out
Beautiful cinema with great films . Weekdays before 5 it has off peak screenings for 8 pounds only.
A fantastic cinema . Nice place to hang out before a film . But the choice of films is quite limited.
Nice, quiet chilled out place to have a few drinks on level -1
Bar downstairs is comfortable and quiet with free WiFi . And they don't mind you stealing the plug sockets.
£5 matinee tickets along with a beautiful interior . Lovely cinema .
Before the film , be sure to grab a coffee and cake and Konditor and Cook across from box office .
Great seats, bar , excellent selection of indie films
Best place for a quiet drink with friends in Soho - as soon as the films start the bar empties out so you'll always get a sofa !
The Curzon Cinema achieves a balance of quiet , comfy sofas , plug sockets and a mindboggling lemon meringue pie . Read more
Large bar with very little seating, the setting isn't intimate or one that'll encourage conversation - better than the average cinema bar , but that's about it.
One of the best arts cinemas in london
A great play for a quiet drink in the centre of town , even on a friday night! The espresso martini is a winner.
Fab cakes , cool bar right in the centre.
Is a film you'd like to see playing @ the Curzon? Then see it there! It's real cozy , elegant, and films look great in them screens!
People watch from windows of the upstairs bar , always a few freaks and geeks on show
Best cake selection , Almond st clement is delicious as is their coffee !
Wel it's a S O H O cinema everything else you crank machine yourself. I like it!
Nice little cinema but you can't reserve seats so get there early!
Particularly good to feel a bit of film snobbery. Also good for a quality coffee . 99 Shaftesbury Avenue, W1D 5
Bit expensive , but sometimes they have indie movies .
Independent cinema , good for documentary lovers.
The old fashioneds are great here
Best toilets in the west end if you need to go when passing through!
Best brownies in London. Try the curly wurly and the Fudgepacker
Good place for a quick dessert (aka cake/tarts)!
Nice display about the life and times of Paul Raymond in the bar .
Get the membership. Rum coke just for £2ish to take in
Not as great as Bloomsbury for number of screens, but just as nice.
Great indie screenings and movie festivals
