Studio screens have been upgraded. Super comfy chairs with reasonable legroom. Price is high, but this is the West End of London and comparable with the other small screens in the immediate area.
Fantastic 70mm screen. Definitely worthwhile for the big blockbusters. No stadium seating though so I recommend closer to the screen if you've got a shorter stature.
Worth booking the Royal Circle if you can get the centre of Row A or B, but anybody 5" or under may wish to sit in Row B as the barrier can obstruct the view at the bottom of the screen.
To add to the other row recommendations… don’t book row G if you’re shortish. Top of entrance (in front of the row) will block bottom of screen.
Despite Luxe advertising, not all screens have reclining seats. Screen 4 has large comfortable seats but no recliners. Suspect same in all smaller screens 2-5 in a separate part of the building.
It's very expensive to go to the cinema here. The only time you should is when it's the London film festival in early to mid October every year. Booking via the BFI. Full red carpet and the works!
The business class reclining seats upstairs are super comfy
Main theatre is best. Others too poky. Royal circle front part best seats. Service has improved in recent times.
If you are in Screen 2 for a subtitled film choose seats further back as not much take in seating and subtitles can be obscured by a tall person
The Popcorn ist tooooo expensive . Almost 5 Pound for the middle size ???? Bring some with you ????
Went to see Transformers Age of Extinction here, the movie was horrible but the cinema itself was gorgeous, decided to treat ourselves with the Royal Circle , pretty nice view ! ^_^
I have never been at a screen this big. It's amazing an really worth going at least once.
Entrance to the most screens is, quite deceptively, through the Costa Coffee entrance which leads into the Odeon - not the main doors (usually).
I like this screening room. It's so in the center of everything but also by the neighborough in its particular way
Knowingly kitsch leopard print seats , rows a bit close together if you are tall. Rows n-s probably ideal in the stalls.
Limitless is the top tier, still worth it.
Great cinema to watch IMAX movies . Really big immersive screen
Didnt get a good seat... Cant complain as i booked really late... But still the best place to watch Man of Steel.
Unlike most other tips I actually really enjoyed the smaller screen. Twas Intimate, picture was good too.
Premiere seats, centre of back row of the stalls, is best seats for best view in Screen 1
Discounts are available if you bring your own 3D glasses. No free wifi . Comfy seating
Odeon Leicester Square, great for premieres. Massive screen, great for 3D films too.
A poster displayed at this cinema for a showing of the film 'The Caine Mutiny' was the inspiration for Maurice Micklewhite changing his name to Michael Caine.
Cool and smaller than OLS, near on the right handside, it's also a red carpet place !
Check your ticket and make sure you're NOT in screen 4. Incredibly small and cramped space with a screen smaller than your tv at home . All for £15.
Check in advance that the 70mm projector is working before paying to see Interstellar.
A big west end cinema with the price tag to match the location!
Very nice 50-seater theatres at Odeon Lounge , Leicester Square.
The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo amazing. The title sequence alone is already worth the money.
The circle seats are wider than the stalls. Go figure.
The 'havin' a laugh' pricing makes me want to go home and pirate a film or two just to break even!
Beware: there are some SUPER tiny theaters in this place. Make sure you don't get stuck in one.
To watch a film assembled with thousands of your fellow humans, this is the place
If you are in the main screen, row A is pretty good, lots of legroom and no one in front of you.
Sit near the front on screen 1. The screen is miles away!
The heat is really hilarious movie , I recommend it to see:)
Very expensive but even a bad movie seems pretty good if you are watching it there.
I do like this Cinema and so you should.
Do not, under any circumstances, go to any screenings that are NOT in the main big screen . Small screens , lousy sound system , bad insulation (can hear movie next door), expensive ticket. Not worth it.
Biggest events in cinema (apart from the LFF)!
ticket counter's always closed, buy tickets from ben and jerry on the left
go for the premium seats, much nicer than the cheap ones which are horrible in this cinema
Shite hole and very expensive . Sound and projection not bad. I only came because it was the only place in London showing the movie I wanted to see.
Great venue often holds film festivals
This is one of 14 BFI London Film Festival venues
A cinema in an old building .
Understand the premium location, but seats very cramped and basic facilities for £16 ticket. Will get tube to Westfield in future.
Looks nice and huge from the outside, but the screen is slightly larger than my tv . 12 £, very disappointing!
Good Film (iron man3)...on a par with the the other two.
Expensive but huge cinema . Small seats.
£27 for 2 is very steep, especially when we are used to paying about £6 per person at home. - Eddie C
Excellent cinema. Screen one is incredibly spacious. Food is expensive but all cinema food usually is. Popcorn is lovely though. - Wayne Naylor
Great cinema with special events for curzon members like Q&A with the director. Good bar area both upstairs and down- gets busy so go early! - Liv Adshead
Very nice fountain and gardens. The place is the heart of London. Extremely crowded during weekend nights! People from all over the world meet there! :-) - Andrea Lazzarini
History has been made here!! You must visit Piccadily Circus. Lovely weather, very social spot with nice selection of Cafés - Ahmed Abdullah
M&M's of course. The whole experience is great with several floors of goodies. There was even a candy m&m walking around for photos. No entry makes it a great way to spend some time. - Robert Paluszak
