Arrive a bit early so you have time to take in the overwhelming size and beauty of the place (trust me) and check out the restrooms even if you don't have to go!
The most elegant theater I’ve ever been to. It’s fully seated with no GA spaces. Lots of great bars and restaurants in the area to help you make a night of it.
Becoming a citizen today? Walk to Flora, sit at the bar , get a burger (sticking your American flag on it optional), a shot of Maker's Mark and a bottle of Liberty Ale . Welcome to America!
Take the time to walk around the theater and explore the art deco . It’s the bomb.
Art deco carried to its necessary extreme. Financed by Paramount Pictures, the Paramount Theatre was the largest West Coast movie palace at the time of its construction in 1931.
Beautiful theatre . The bar in the lobby isn't the only one in the theatre so save yourself some time in the line !
Love this venue. Great sound and spectacular beauty
A beautiful old theater . Be warned that movies generally start ~40 minutes late due to the spinner game they do before hand.
Lovely architecture , great landmark in Oakland and good place for a concert .
The balcony ladies room is tiny. You will miss the second set of a show if you wait in what will be a monster line . Try another floor or book out early.
Archie Bunker had a great quote for this event . I’ll have to find it and post it as a comment…
Beautifully restored, HUGE, drinks are a bargain relative to other venues.
wonderful music concert venue with an old world charm. leonard cohen 's concert in 2010 was awesome there.

the $5 movie classics are so fun! Wurlitzer , dec-o-win raffle & newsreel before the show
A vodka cran and a small bottle of water cost 19 bucks, but the theater is beautiful and the show I saw (Chelsea Handler) was hilarious!

The outside of the buikding is unimpressive but wait until you get inside!
Dont bring your own popcorn . Alll the candy and booze you can smuggle in but no popcorn
Beautiful theater . No elevator
1931. Art Deco opulence.
Great place for dinner close to the Lukas for dinner .

Great place for a show.
Great theater....they just need a larger restroom for the ladies.

OMG. Movies at the Paramount are the best. Even when they're bad, they're good.
Movie night here beats any movie night at AMC.
They sure don't make theaters like this anymore!
