One of my favorite places in the country . Established in 1924 up in 9th St., been eating here since 1976. Ham steak and eggs over easy with sourdough toast will knock your socks off.

Fried potatoes have a delicious & thick crust, pairs well with bacon . A couple could easily split a single menu item. Huge portions .

The full ham steak was delicious, enough for 2 to split. Mom and Pop restaurant , just our style. Nice large tables, room to spread out without bumping into the next table.

Buttered french bread that comes with the meal is fantastic. We had the chicken fried steak at 2am and it did not disappoint.

Always great. Pantry burger . Slaw . Have had dozens of times. Waiter gave me a description of it because I asked for cheese . “You don’t know the Pantry burger if you have to ask for cheese on it.”

Based on other reviews I DID try the sourdough toast ; fantastic choice. I ordered the french toast and it was the best french toast I've ever had.

The Pantry Burger was BIG, delivered on toasted sliced bread with lots of cheese as well as some good fries . Bring an appetite!

The bacon & cheese omelet was delicious. It came with the most perfectly cooked hash browns . Their pancakes were great as well .

I ordered the French toast . Couldn't eat it all (6 pieces!) but man, it was good. Sprinkle of cinnamon and powdered sugar--check!

This place is awesome dont let the outside appearance fool you! There are two doors.The line down the block was for people who wanted tables. The other door is for those who want to sit at the counter

The long line on the left of the building is for table seating, the much shorter line on the right is for counter seating . This is a quicker option for 1 or 2 people.

The well done steak was a wee bit tough to deal with but tasted good, there's no sauce, I guess that's the Traditional American way. But the omllete-kind potatoe that came with the steak was great.
