House of Pies

Opened in 1969. Diner food . Homemade pie . Once a chain that had 32 in So Cal alone, this is the last one standing.

The fish and chips are REALLY GOOD. But if your meal comes a side, you can't beat the sweet potato fries . I seriously doubt you could get a bad pie here but the german chocolate is my pick.

Cinnamon roll French toast ???? also got the key lime pie , blueberry pie , and apple tart pie to go! Lots of pies !!!

If I had more time here i would try everything on the menu! The food we had was amazing and delicious.

The pies are, for sure, the best thing they have here, hence the name. But they also have a huge menu full of comfort foods you'd expect from a diner .

Everything Is good here! Los Feliz Benedict is delicious! Street parking is recommended.

There is an early bird breakfast menu . Good food for a great price. Get there before 11:00 AM and they have Cholula Salsa for your eggs . :)

Get a window table for some people watching . Typical diner food but the pancakes are soo yum: light, fluffy yet crisp on the outside. And definitely save room for the pies !!! *drool*

Chocolate cream and coconut cream pies are amazing! Get them to go and rest them in Griffith Park for a great view !

It's a classic in LA and the pies are really good

It's a good breakfast spot when you want something better than your average IHOP or Denny's.

I've been a life long House of Pie'er. This place will give you a heart attack! Fav is Turkey , Avocado , Bacon sandwich but get rid of 3rd slice of bread in middle.

The fresh peach pie is only available around July and August. And it almost always sells out by the time the evening comes along.

Love it. Huge plates. Share them or plan a nap.

Sit in Karina's area. She's always cheerful and fast!

Try the cappuccino cheesecake . Its awesomely Good.
