The Crown at Bray

The chips are amazing. Switch for them if you have the burger as the fries are average! Very friendly and will let your dog in if you grovel. Heston 's style can be smelt.

It took me back to going to pubs with my grandparents, as a child. All dark beams, brasses and low ceilings. I enjoyed the beef skirt with bone marrow sauce.

Amazing food and reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere in the socially distanced garden gazebo . The entrance to the car park is a narrow tight turn but plenty of space once through

Beautiful country pub , friendly staff . Food very nice too. A child and an adult lunch + a glass of wine cost us some £30, but well , it's Bray!

Nice very old historic pub with nice courtyard . The fish and chips are the standout here along with the prawn salad . Good wine list , but wish the beer was more extensive.

16th century pub that was converted from 2 cottages. Now owned by renowned chef Heston Blumenthal. Charles II used to drink here when visiting his mistress nearby.

Best fries ever! You can have them with your fish & chips or ask to the waitress for a portion of them. Or two.

Unfriendly and inefficient staff . They brought me the wrong burger twice (no special order just what was on the menu) and by the time the 3rd one came the hamburger was cold and so were the fries .

Slow service... I’m sure there are better places in the area, food is so-so.

Turned away because the kitchen had too many orders. The pub and garden weren't even full. Smacks of laziness.

Menu that was presented wasn't the menu shown on the website. We went particularly for the advertised menu, presented with an everyday pub grub menu that we could have had anywhere. Very average!
