The James Branch Cabell Library, named after the celebrated Richmond author, provides students with expanded study space, a full service Starbucks and “cyberlounges.” The library boasts one of the largest book-art collections and popular culture and comic arts collections.

If you have a laptop stay away from the desktops PLEASE. Not everyone can afford laptops or have the physical capabilities to drag one around with them!! Sit at a table!
You can download the printing program on the VCU Library website if you want to print from your laptop . A lot better than waiting for a computer to open up
Def. check out the Media and Reserves room on the 3rd floor.. It's kind of a hidden treasure . DVD players, scanners, albums, all hidden away just for your enjoyment.
Under renovation and expansion, but still best library in Central Virginia.
Great news! Starbucks will be open during Library Lite All Nite, our end-of-semester, final exam 24 hours a day, 5 days a week schedule. Read more
I remember this place before the Starbucks. All we had was a water fountain and a smoke spot.
If you can't find a book ask the help desk! It may be in storage!
It's been a second home for me for a long time ❤️???? #Class12
I understand that GE second floor is for group study and does not mean quiet , but I truly don't need to hear your sexual exploits from the weekend. Nor does anyone else need to hear it. Ugh.
If you're not using the computer don't sit by it. There are plenty of booths and tables elsewhere
Remember that some people have actual work to do, try to stay off the computers if you're just going to Facebook
4th floor is the quietest . To avoid demeaning glares, silence your phone a anything else that might make noise.
The second floor is NOT a quiet floor-- so quit bitcbin' about being able to hear music through headphones! If you need peace , go elsewhere.
Browse the special collections on the 4th floor, lurk around in the basement computer lab, then leave a missed connection
Some people actually need the computers for work.. please, if you're not using them for such, let someone else use it.. there's not enough that's for sure.
Count how many people are on a library computer or their laptop looking on Facebook and not doing work.
4th floor is for silence! Not for whispering on your cell phone or giggling with your girlfriend about someones facebook status.
Give yourself lots of time to print before class !
Don't talk while coming off the elevator on the 3rd or 4th floors. It's really annoying.
If thee computers on the first floor are too busy...use the ones on 3 & 4
Just because you are on the 1st or 2nd floor doesn't mean you can be obnoxiously loud . Its still a library bitch
Google the app , you can for certain amounts of time restrict websites
2nd floor is where all the action is. If you plan on getting work done on your own, avoid.
There's not one around in the summer. There is so much room!
Get off Facebook and four square and do some real studying.
Bring a pillow and blanket
Try the books !!!!!
Stop talking on the fourth floor!
Dont expect to be on time if you show up 10 'til class expecting to print .
Watch out for the 1:50 AM intercom warning. It'll startle ya.
You know how many fucking magazines are on the first floor ? Shiyyyyit
Finding a place to sit is hard but finding a computer or outlet is terrible, make sure your laptop is fully charged
Reserve your group study room online! http://www.library.vcu.edu/rooms/ Read more
beware all the bathrooms EXCEPT for the ones in the basement during exam week.
Pee in the basement floor bathroom , it's so creepy and quiet .
Half of the keyboards on first floor have annoyingly sticky space bars :(
its nice. love the study rooms and Starbucks
Found a booger patch On the third floor. Look under the desks first!
They need to build us a second library .
This place needs an Adderall vending machine
Can't sleep. Finals will eat me...
Study rooms are really nice! =)
I like turtles
Second floor...nuff said
Standing computers suck. Try to find one to sit at
Stay off facebook
Don't sit next to "Arvachi".
Great place for studying (in a loud area) people watching & nice place to get fast food. There are ATM at two of the entrances. - B P
Drink and snack machines on second floor are often cash only, beware kids. Get the green tea! - Keyan Herron
