Upgrade to the STONE-POT Bibimbap . Don't touch the pot (YOU WILL BURN YOURSELF), and resist the urge to mix immediately. You will be rewarded with a crispy rice bottom. Mix in the spicy sauce and nom!
Come early to beat the line and get the cleanest table. They open at 11 and save some cash by getting the lunch special Tue-Fri 11am-3pm (Except Holidays)
Good no-frills, homestyle Korean food . The actual restaurant is tiny and always packed, but you can get takeout or delivery (through Postmates). I like the soft tofu soup and cold noodles (naengmyeon)
Dol-sot bibimbap . Good tofu soup and decent kalbi . But the bibimbap ! Break the egg , add the sauce and mix with the rice , grated vegetables and marinated beef . Scrape off crust on bottom, a delicacy.
Everything I've had here has been great. I especially like the sweet and spicy chicken wings and bimbimbap . Often there's a wait, it's a small space. The owner is very friendly .
Best ramen I've had in a long time. Family owned place with amazing good-quality Korean dishes for a fair price .
The dukbokki or tteokbokki was pretty excellent, the yukgaejang here was good, and the mul naeng myun was yummy. The chicken wings were more Chinese-style than Korean, but good nonetheless.
If you get the bibimbap , make sure to get it in the stone bowl! Adds to the experience.
Really good food. Place seats about 25 to 30 people- super small, but service is great. I thought the portions were small, but filling enough. Get kalbi really tasty and don't forget duk bok ki.
Super small - Expect to wait a while if you come in the evening. They also don't always bring food out at the right time. One of our appetizers came when we were 3/4 of the way done with dinner .
Absolutely delicious Korean food , the little dishes are the best
my go-to spot for korean food (& kimchi fried rice !!). go during non-peak hours -- the wait sometimes gets long bc they have limited seating .
Great Korean place in Sunset . Long line expected, better go early evening.
Great place for cheap authentic Korean food . Tofu soup is good on a cold day!
check out nearby bookstores or hike thru the giant beautiful park

You can get kimchi AND seafood pancake , off menu but so delicious.
Best Korean food in the inner sunset ! Tofu soup is awesome. Solid bibimbap . Great service.
Worth the wait. The best tofu soup I have ever had
Lunch specials are a bargain. Also they'll customize the banchan to your liking. Chicken wings and BBQ pork are epic!
Dol Sot Bimimbop (sp?) is my absolute fave. Soy chicken wings are also super good.
Get two eggs with your dol-sot, it'll enhance the whole bowl.
Awesome food , just be careful everything comes really hot ????
their tofu soup is amazing! They also have lunch specials , which are $1 off the regular menu.
Best neighborhood Korean place in inner sunset ! Banchan is few but solid!
Sizzling bibimbop is great. Just don't burn yourself on it...
The soft tofu soup was incredible, and the stone pot bibimbi was a close second.
Best kimchi I've had thus far! Prices are very reasonable too.
The bibibamp is amazing. I love the vibe here.
Get the bibimbap and kimchi pancake . Expect a wait, but the price and taste trumps any wait.
Don't forget to order 'Kampoongki'. It was so good. =)
Mom and pop Korean. Very helpful staff . Great for lunch .
Soft tofu stew is a good hearty deal. Get your Korean fix at a reasonable price (unlike other Korean joints in the city )
Tiny, sometimes longish lines but never more than 30min. You will leave smelling of food. Seafood pancake !
Cheap korean food . get the bibimbap or the bbq chicken
Friendly service . Feels like I've been adopted into a Korean family when I'm there!
Tasty kalbi , good ban chan, good fried chicken !
Lunch specials from Tuesday-Friday 11:30 am - 3:00 pm
Bibimbap and kimchi fried rice are really good!
Great Korean seafood pancakes , good kalbi .
The kimchi fried rice is amazing!! The tofu soups are just okay.
Soy sauce chicken wings are tasty, with just enough seasoning.
The kimchi pancake is such a good "foggy day" dish
The Kimchee Fried Rice is delicious!
Try their soft tofu soup and kimchi pancakes , but be careful with sauce, it's to salty.
