Hale Koa Hotel

Pleased with this hotel . Great price for being on Waikiki Beach . Service was pretty prompt and drink/food prices reasonable. I would go back again...request Ilima Tower....updated and better views

This is near to the edge of Waikiki so it's convenient, but I think only Military can stay here.

I like it here. It has nice amenities and it is a great price for staying in Waikiki. If going to Koko cafe for breakfast , get there before 8am since it fills up fast!

Wonderful hotel ! Love the big breezy lobby. Java cafe at the Lobby Level is convenient for morning snacks and coffee . Otherwise you'll need the Exchange downstairs, or walk down to Happy's.

Best place for military to stay in Hawaii. If you can get the room- reserve early... A year out early.

Super friendly , affordable way to stay in Waikiki. The beach is beautiful, pools are refreshing and rooms very nice. If you desire a king ocean view ask for an end tower room

Such a beautiful hotel , they have exotic animals around the hotel , the lobby is completely open, its clean , staff and people here are nice, and has 2 mean stray cats lol. Best its steps from the ocean

Try to get a room in the building on the left of the lanai: same side as the front desk. Its been upgraded and remodeled-more comfortable than the other building which is a little run down and dated.

Skip the expensive souvenir shops in Waikiki and shop the tax free Exchange on the first floor.

Love the hotel & especially the snack bar . They have a Heaven & Earth Spa Facility which is wonderful.

It was alright, good price...if you want the best Luau experience go to Germaine's, the Luau here seems like everyone going through the motions to get it over with...

Luau is a nice experience but the food is terrible go for the show. If you pay for an ocean view it does not mean you look out your balcony And see the ocean

Very affordable for us mil folk. Beautiful beach/garden/pool area, but room seemed a little dated. Luau show was awesome.

Bring a travel router for your tablets etc. Rooms have free wired only Internet

Beautiful views but is not roomy for big families. Each room only has two beds. Unless you have small kids you will have to get 2 rooms, which is VERY expensive . Food is WAY overpriced.

Warrior lounge has a good happy hour starting at 1700.

The reservation line and the walk-in line are the same...so just get there ahead of time...

If you are E-5 and below, its actually cheaper to do the buffet than to order seperate meals...kids under 4 are free...
