Tsukemen is like soba . Dip the noodles in the soup before eating it. The soup gets cold fast so you can't leisurely take your time. Free refills! The Dutch pancakes are super filling.
2nd of Tan Hsueh Yun's top 3 ramen bowls in SG. She recommends the White Chashu Tsukemen , for its thick, chewy noodles . Part of chain of 9 outlets. Source: Sunday Times
Tsukemen !! Also the black garlic ramen . Tasty tasty. Fried cuttlefish is so so (little bit 'soggy' and comes on whole pieces that are big big"
The Ramen is not bad. But not spicy enough for me. Regret ordering the cuttlefish !!! It's not crispy and it's very hard to bite for a fried item!!! Might not return back. Prefer Ramen Champion anytime
Good ramen . Soup base is thick. Enthusiatic kitchen crew and efficient ushering during dinner time. Free refill of tea also awesome.
Favourite is the tsukemen . Good on a hot day.
Food came within 5 minutes of ordering. You can't go wrong with any of the white, black, or red ramen !
Having tsuzemen is a problem. While the first few mouths are ok , your soup turns cold real fast and the rest of your 4 servings gets dipped into cold soup .
Tasty ramen , huge portions . Reasonably priced.
best tsukemen in singapore so far! go for the white one!
Ramen was really good! The 2x upsize is already enough for the most empty of stomachs. Be prepared to queue though!
A place for lightning-fast eaters! Last order at 9.45pm, you are expected to finish eating and get out by 10pm.
The food's not bad. Had curry thingy. Noodles quite nice. Soup very salty but other than that, quite nice overall. Friend has another dish and soup 's ok. Service's quite ok too.
Soup base taste average only, there are better out there than this. Soup quantity given for white ramen lesser than spicy ramen , waiter said this is because bowl type used was different
Tasty and thick soup base but a tad salty for me. The noodle portion a little small unless upsize but only available for tsukemen .
Ramen with thick, tasty and oily soup .
The food there is extremely awesomee at an affordable price
Good value of lunch set.
Not worth a long queue, there are better options. Expect slow service, and while the ramen is above average in Singapore, it is not amazing, in my humble opinion. I also found it a bit stuffy.
Thick but sorta tasteless white broth and the gyoza tasted like instant products. Egg was too hardboiled for my taste. Only the chewy noodles were the minor saving grace.
The ramen is damn good!
Deliciouss thick broth ramen :)
Good ramen with thick soup . But not that mindblowing. Very fulfilling tho. Not much variety of the menu and service was a bit lousy.
The service level here can be improved. Wait staff completely ignored the fact that I was calling and waving at them to have order taken.
Must be here before noon or u have to q for table.
Like everybody says - service not so good, soup too fatty and salty. For best ramen go to Keisuke in Tanjong Pagar
Like what many of the tips have said, there are better ramen joints out there.
Not worth it. Soup is only delicious for the first few spoons then it becomes rather nausea inducing - too thick. Noodles are alright. Mediocre portions of chashu and tamago. Not coming back.
Had the white soup with pork belly , didn't hit the spot, I've had better lah.
Looks good, taste horrible. Soup was like laksa + miso , ramen wasn't good, and a long queue. Stay away from here, there are better ramen around.
Urgh... Don't like it at all... The soup is so rich in an odd way. Taste neither like authentic ramen nor fusion. All in all, just weird. Wouldn't be visiting anymore.
My 2nd fav ramen place after Santouka!
Tsukamen only available on Monday
We thought the soup wasn't hot because there wasn't smoke rising out, but turns out it was cos the layer of oil on top was too thick >_<
Not worth queuing for AT ALL. Not worth wasting time eating it even without a queue really. This place has good noodles but Ippudo is better as a whole.
Had better ramen .. Soup base is still pretty alright
I've had better instant noodles .
One word: Bad!
No taste at all for the black soup or is it too thick????
Curry ramen is bad.. Stay away.
The soup broth not that hot.. N the service quite bad
not coming back, the soup base is just awkward. maybe i was supposed to eat their tsukamen ...
What's with the attitude, dude. Seriously. Never again.
Try roast chicken apricot sandwich. A satisfying breakfast to drive away your Monday blues. - Dawn Tan
Great Japanese steaks at pepper lunch, good chicken rice and kimchi as well! - Jeff Boyle
Great Japanese Ramen! You can choose thickness of the soup, softness of noodles and chicken oil. Free boiled egg! :) - HaeAn Sung
New dining experience at Watami (Japanese Cuisine). Must try: Watami salad (10 types of veggies with tuna mayo), Kani & Hotate cream croquette (breaded balls of crab & scallop in creamy sauce). - Raffles City Shopping Centre, Singapore
Pandan flan is sweet and textured with mildly strong pandan flavour. Goes well with a cup of sugarless long black. - Kenn Tan
