The ramen here is of great value ! Look at the mountainous amount of bean sprout given! And they are pretty generous with the chicken as well ! Taste wise, it is above average! Definitely recommend!
all the Chefs are Japanese! you can eat the most traditional Japanese ramen here~~ there are many small stores in it, you can choose which type you want, but they are all good, many populous noodle ~
Ramen : Tried 4 of 6 stalls. Tetsu : chicken/seafood base, stingy w chasu. Ikkousha : Most porky base, fine noodles . Bario: Ramen thick & chewy, base garlicky! Menya Iroha : Lite & fragrant soy base.
Tried Buta God. Decent dish, nothing fantastic, ingredients are decent too. Meat is well marinated and juicy. Like them on Facebook to get a free spring roll . The spring roll is much of raw veg btw
Good ramen , good prices, comfortable eating environment. Always one of my favourite ramen places (: get the bario or itto ramens , my personal favorites. If you love meat, buta god is good as well .
I vote for Buta God by Mamoru Kanaya. Their specialty is pork ramen with yummy thinly-sliced pork belly and poached egg . Love the broth.
Buta God has a healthy version of their sukiyaki which seems less sweet and has plenty of vegetables . Interesting and delicious version.
Bario if you love bean sprouts and thick noodles ; Buta God is an interesting variation (sweet broth and does not do your usual ajitama which is fantastic); Mendokoro Aoi is pleasantly mellow.
A must eat ramen store in Singapore and its one of the best in Singapore. Ikkousha the special ramen and fried chicken was awesome!
Soup blends well with garlic and chilli powder . Nice noodle texture and served with generous amount of bean sprout and cabbage , don't worry the char-siew is just enough to fill your hungry stomach.
Had the Special Ramen and gyoza from Ikkousha . Really refreshing broth; wasn't too rich. The texture of the egg was perfect; melt in the mouth.
6 different ramen chef compeiting to see who is te ultimate Ramen champion :D Gantetsu , tetsu , Ikousha , Bario , Taishoken and Menya Iroha . Beside Ramen champion is Tsubohachi ! They work as a team~
Remember to vote for your favorite ramen chef/stall before you leave. I heard that they have a voting system, where the stall/chefs who gets the most votes will be allowed to continue to operate here
6 Ramen shops from Japan competing for your business! Must try them all. They are only here for a year so ramen lovers hurry and head down here today!
Many stalls inside, however you can say all of them sell ramen .. all similar, not much varieties although many stalls. Spacious & good for families
Beef Nikumashi Ramen is a must try! Tender sukiyaki beef and rich tonkotsu broth, the noodles also taste great in the broth.
I have tried Riki Ramen it was very big and filling. But if your thinking of trying Buta God Ramen be ready because thier soup is super salty...
Walk around and decide what type of ramen you want before ordering. Bario is fatty and rich but the meat is really tender and flavorful. The picture is tonkatsu (i think) though
Take my recommendation. Try the Ikkousha ramen stall's tonkotsu ramen . It is one of the best ramen in Sjngapore. No doubt about that.
Gantetsu has great flavour & textures, lovely. Not a fan of Bario's really: too garlicky & the noodles are way too thick to have a bowl full. Winner of this round: Gantetsu
Try the beef god ramen at Buta God. Big portion , lot of beef and tasty soup . Yummy !
Ikkousha is good, loves it thin noodle and light broth. Tried fren's Bario & don't really like it's thick noodle but agrees it's value for money and will fill a hungry man's tummy!
The Bario ramen hits like a sledgehammer... super thick noodles and broth. The shoyu ramen is for people who like shoyu ramen . Otherwise, skip it. The Saporro has an amazing balance of flavors.
Try Red King Cha Shu Men at Menus Iroha, savory broth with big slices of chasiu and lots of it.
Wow, multiple ramen house competing for your vote and money. Only managed to try buta God and ikkousha . Both good.
Like their page on Facebook and you'll get free spring roll !
Wanna sample famous ramen from around Japan? No $ to go Japan? This is the place for you
Try the red king cha shu ramen , get the large size to satisfy your hunger!
Interesting spot. 5 ramen stalls in "competition" with each other. Went with bario ramen (option #1).
If you're a thick noodle eater go for Bario. If thin noodles and soup go for Ikkousha . Gantetsu is a between the two types of ramen . I don't eat any other stall here.
This is the 2nd time and also will be the last time I will patron Hendokoro Aoi 面菖处生. I personally don't like the taste of the noodles
Menya Ryu - Sapporo Miso Ramen is all salty and unsatisfying. Separately, the amount of non-ramen choices here can only mean business is waning.
Love Buta God. Bario used to be my favourite but it's standard drop since the last time I came here. Dislike Gantetsu Ramen . No "wow" factor at all..
I always loved ramen but this "Special Tonkotsu Ramen " is on a whole new level. I guess they don't call it "special" for nothing.
Love that there's constantly turnover at this place so that we can try new stalls!
Slurp all the ramen you want here. Can't really go wrong here.
Gantetsu is great. Ask for extra butter! It has a pretty strong, rich flavor and the noodles are springy.
Can't go wrong with buta god. Its a big meal though
They have shifted to #04-07, their former location taken over by Hai Di Lao.
Try Red King Cha Shu Men at Menya Iroha , savory broth with big slices of chasiu and lots of it.
can't decide which Japanese ramen to eat? come here and be even more confused
Ikkousha was amazing! Soothing pork soup with really nice, smooth thin noodles . Yum!
Gantetsu is fabfabfabulous. springy al dente noodles w/ a delightful orb of an oozy-centred egg . perfect comfort food .
ALL the ramen here is mediocre. Get a grip, leave the hype and try some other worthy ramen like Baikohken and Nantsuttei. And I only got a slice of cha-shu with my Ikkousha Ajitama Ramen -_-
6 ramen shops in one place! Unfortunately either I don't like this style of ramen or I chose the worse one of the lot. The Bario ramen was average and the soup was thick but unflavourful. 5/10
Try the special ramen ! You won't regret it !
Tonkotsu = pork bone soup . Boiled for over 11 hours.
Located on 4th floor of Bugis shopping mall . Head inside and then up the escalators.
Best ramen in the world outside of Japan
Bario was really bleah. Very oily, greasy and salty and charsiew was only so-so. Spicy Miso Ramen from Menya Iroha was great though! Love it!
The Mille Feuille Katsu Don is done with 14 slices of pork loin instead of a single chunk of meat. It makes a difference. - gerard t
Great Japanese Ramen! You can choose thickness of the soup, softness of noodles and chicken oil. Free boiled egg! :) - HaeAn Sung
The Black Spicy Chicken Ramen is simply fantastic, a heavenly experience. Add some sesame and Bonito flakes for extra effect ;-) - Albert Koellner
Good ramen. Soup base is thick. Enthusiatic kitchen crew and efficient ushering during dinner time. Free refill of tea also awesome. - Keilya Jan
Love their foodcourts here. With great variety of foods and drinks. Reasonable price and share. - lolcorporation SG
Tried the ramen champion section: Buta God Ramen Ikkyu = very above average only. Would definitely come back again though. Nice place. - Romeo Hsueh
