I ordered the chupe de camarones and it was outstanding. I am Peruvian so I was really pleased with the authenticity of the meal. My husband ordered the lomo saltado and the beef was tender and juicy.

Great service & delicious, authentic food. App: Palta Rellena. Main: Arroz Chaufa, Camarones Cuzco or Lomo Saltado . Drink: Red Sangria , trust me! This location is a bit more laid back than downtown's.

Actually great Peruvian food . Authentic . Great for big groups as the dishes are generously proportioned. Good for sharing family-style

My favorite restaurant in NYC until now! The ceviche and the coupe are incredible. Everyone who loves Peruvian food as to go there.

When I am in New York, I visit this place multiple times - every time. The bartender made me an amazing Mango Margarita (and, of course, the Sangria is a must have!).

Order "El Matador" - incredible quantity of delicious Peruvian cuisine . My g/f is Peruvian so she knows what's up. Gotta do it. And slather your chicken in the tostones sauce. Vaya!

Food and Service was Awesome ...Large amounts of food and the chicken is a must as well as the ceviche to top it off. Sangria was tasty. Overall a wonderful place ESP for a date two thumbs up !!

Huge portions . Must order chicken & share. The plantains are a must too. Great for group parties & celebrations. Big space . Get the private area down at the very back.

Sangria is always on point best I've ever had. The matador combo is the best. Three to four can eat from there.

Portions are huge. If your party is 3 or more, get a number of entrees equal to about 2/3 of your party size and do family style , unless you want to carry doggie bags home.

Great food, excellent service! I don't know what's in that green sauce but I could drink it through a straw! Oh & the sangria is good too!

The picante de camerones is fantastic. Spicy and good. Love the quinoa cake stuffed with spinach and goat cheese that comes with it.

I had an awesome experience at Pio Pio. The green sauce is so addicting and definitely makes the chicken . The yuca fries and avocado salad is a must!

Lovely, beautiful, flavorful food. The fish dishes are delicious but I could've had the yucca ALL DAY.

Gotta get the chicken ! Calamari frito is so good, and the arroz con mariscos is superb! Love their sweet plantain as well ...

Whole chicken is delicious. Bathe it in green sauce and order a pitcher of sangria , and you'll be happy.

Portions are amazing. But for this specific location, I would suggest coming with a group since there aren't that many corners for a dinner two privacy.

Worst experience at this place. Rice was over cooked. We were not asked if we needed more drinks. We order the chicken rotisserie which came with no fries or salad . Apparently they aren't included.

The green sauce makes the chicken . Really great value for an amazing meal. Avocado salad is delicious too
