Beautiful restaurant , set inside a courtyard of a large historic building . The courtyard is surrounded by trees to provide shade for the tables. Came here for brunch , delicious vegetable enchilada
Amazing place. There's a long wait if you don't make a reservation , but is worth it. The mole negro was a great experience, different from everything I had tasted before.
One of the best restaurants in downtown Mexico city. Azul Historico tries to bring traditional Mexican dishes to modern life in an authentic way. Make sure to book a reservation .
If you don't like the street food (like me) the Azul h is one of the best places in historical centre of Mexico where you will find all you need from local traditional food and satisfy you hungry.
Modern interpretation of Mexican cuisine . Variety of regional dishes with varying quality. Centric location with nice ambiance. Ideal for business or dates. Ceviche and guacamole are recommended.
Delicious traditional Mexican food prepared in a very high-end way. You'll love the setting within the patio of a centuries old building and the attention by a very attentive an courteous staff .
The duck breast with sweet mole was fantastic. The pairing with pear and green apple slices was to die for! Also, try their several "gourmet sangrias ". We had a port sangria , a cassis and a mint one
One of the best brunch places in the city . Chilaquiles of all varieties, pastries , juice . Beautiful building as well .
Service was great! Cozy place. Quality of food it is good But not extraordinary to my taste. Not that tasty flavors as other places in Mexico. We
Second visit. Much better experience. Service has improved a lot.Tasty, highly original food.Mexican taste+haute cuisine skills.Fish/achiote, plantain and avocado . Schrimp & mango . Bitter orange cake .
The presentation of the food is extraordinary, so much attention to detail. Everything was great.
Great memories from this amazing place. Great food!!!! Service!!!! The Filete de Res en Salsa de Chichilo is worth savoring, everything was excellent. A MUST stop on anyone's visit.
Best meal in Mexico City to date. The hibiscus enchiladas are amazing. The mole is fantastic. Highly recommended!
The food is just okay, but the atmosphere is amazing. Beautiful trees inside a historic building . Be sure to get the hot chocolate ! Incredible!
Traditional Mexican cuisine from various regions in a striking courtyard location. Try the “Cochinita Pibil ” from Yucatán and a Mezcal from Oaxaca.
definetely a must if go to zocalo in CDMX... “mole ” and tortilla soup are highly recommended...
Love their food and options. One of my favorites in the tortilla soap. It’s served in a pottery shaped (Talavera) Catrina.
Amazing food. Amazing service. Just a great place with a lot of history. Can’t wait to go back.
Experimental cuisine. The setting and presentation is stellar - the food is good but not great. Definitely worth going at least once.
Best food and best location for a lovely lunch and evening! must go in Downtown Mexico !
Great location, beautiful place. Went there on two different occasions - enjoyed the chili en nogada thoroughly. Great great dish!
The hot chocolate here is by far one of the best I have had + great service
Great place to try several Mexican tastes form all over the country , the actual restaurant and food is amazing
The sopa de tortilla Oaxaqueña is served in a gorgeous, lacquered jewelry box!
Amazing food and some of the best service I've had in Mexico. Alta Cocina Mexicana, sin duda.
Cute decor with hanging candles. I enjoyed my margarita . Legendario mole negro was too sweet for me. Michelada was disappointing. No hot sauce , only beer , lime juice , and a salt rim
Excellent place ask for the mole and the festival food of the month
We had the Jamaica enchiladas and panchos , they were delicious! But the waiters are a bit cranky.....
The ambiance is amazing.. Taco , fajita delicious..
Service and food are impecable. A must for anyone visiting DF
Duck with sweet mole
Great for special occasions
They overcooked my duck and the cook refused to acknowledge it was and that it's prepared that way. Good duck should be a little bit pink not tough and dry. Very disappointed they argued so much on it
The moles are outstanding! Loved the guacamole with chapulines
Enchiladas del suelo and cacao/ginger hot drink
Lovely place and good food, great for drinks with friends/date!
Yummy mexican, cosy garden , nice terrase
Cochinita Pibil was amazing!
The pear salad is delicious!
I highly recommend the trebiche and the taco de camaron
Duck breast with mole
Co-worker Ryan's strong recommendation "A Must!"
Everything
not very big choice of dishes but all of them are truly Mexican and very tasty. But check your bill twice they can add some extra
Amazing place..
Good food with good services .
Salted shrimp with mango pico .
Drinks, food and ambiance
One of the best Mexican food restaurants ♥
A place everyone should definitely go to
Azul restaurants are guarantee of quality. Food is excellent, “buñuelos de pato con mole negro” are awesome, salads, dessert, everything. Service is superb. Not cheap but it worth it. - Angel Leon
Favorite for inexpensive, quick authentic Mexican food. Posole the best. - Rose Castro
Great place to hang out and have a nice drink along with great music - Feernando Garcia
Xocoatl drink is one of the best, ask of it whenever you go and it's kinda hot outside. It's very fresh. - Dan N
So much to see, it’s worth a full day of exploring (museums, taco spots, old buildings and shops) - Gregory Fisher
The architecture is just beautiful. Lots of great paintings and murals. Avoid Sundays because is free and the line goes around the corner. - Jaz Hdez
