Can Can Brasserie

This is one of my absolute favorite places for a romantic dinner . Go for the classics: steak frites , sole or fish special, seafood or charcuterie , onion soup . Like being in Paris. Great cocktails too.

How do you make a grilled ham and gruyere sandwich , covered in creamy béchamel sauce , even more comforting and rich? You put a fried egg on top and call a croque madame .

This busy bistro is a Carytown staple. Sit by the window for some of the best people watching or sit at the bar for happy hour specials including half-price oysters , shrimp and burgers from 5 to 7pm.

Fried oysters (you get 10!) The pork milanese was delicious! Great atmosphere and service. Would come back for sure!

Amazing food with great service. Thay even have French toilets in the bathrooms .

Can Can is one of our regular haunts when in Richmond at lunchtime, great menu, large selection, and an awesome beer list .

If you eat at the bar , there is a great $5 burger special which comes with a huge side of fries (best in Richmond).You can also wear the top half of the bun as a beret while you sing frere jacques.

One can not go wrong, for this place has figured out how to make everything you order one of a kind. It will make you want to come back and try it all.

Their cinnamon roll is crisp, buttery, flaky, and less sweet; reminiscent of their croissants . Pair it with one of their rich hot chocolates !

The squash crepe was light and flavorful. You can buy their specialty fruit breads for $6 a loaf! Great service too!

Coffee house 7am to 11am everyday. Their pastries & bread are all made in house & fresh everyday, delicious!

The libations and the entrées are amazing. The staff are very friendly and nice. They definitely deserve a tip!

Try the Nutella Latte and the Poutine ( pulled chicken , roasted corn , roasted red pepper , poached egg and spicy hollandaise

Love the winter food coffee and pancakes there. The short ribs are fantastic

Step into a little Paris cafe right here in Richmond! Nice wine list , excellent coffee and breads , LOVELY atmosphere!

Delicious burger with gruyere cheese . Intense though. You'd have to be starving to wolf it all down!

Hot chocolate is definitely recommended. Right in the heart of Carytown, beautiful scene, I also recommend sitting outside.

If you're a pair, don't trouble yourself with reservations . Grab a seat at the bar and order a Sazerac . One of the best in town .

A perfect brunch spot with a perfect burger . Great food and great service.

I enjoy drinking wine here. I enjoy sitting outside here. Sometimes...I enjoy doing both of these things here at the SAME TIME!!!

Great wine selection , not many vegan options . I did get a terrific risotto made vegan though.

Best croissants in town . You can choose from chocolate , almond & butter. Get there at 7am, when they are fresh out of the oven. Go on Mondays for $5 French wine by the glass.

Did you know Can Can has an amazing back room for private events ? It's absolutely gorgeous!

The red snapper with clams . Go get it!

Stay away from the pecan crepe . Crammed full of lemon curd with punctuations of goat cheese make this crepe sour to the taste. The lemon overpowers any other taste the crepe could have offered.

Demi baguette , mid-day coffee or break for frites & oysters .

You need a reservation from Friday to Sunday. Get the cheese plate .

Yes we Can Can say this place is an excellent place to dine. My girls and I were just here on Saturday. Great atmosphere.
