Overall pricey but good! It's just that there are so many good Japanese restos.Tastd fresh esp Teppanyaki ,beef really good but small portions. Blowtorched sushi just ok.Poke salad w wasabi sauce good.

Chicken Mozza Ramen was ok. Serving big enough to be split for two. Had the Akira maki too. Each piece was big so couldn't put all in your mouth in one bite. It was good though.

Great food. Well mannered staff . Get chef Rommel for you teppan . Disappointing though, their rib eye runs out after their first batch of customers...on a Sunday!!!!

What's so wrong about this branch is that the wait staff crosses the dining area to get to the teppan buffet table to replenish food from the kitchen. It's a restaurant horror!Seats weren't comfy too.

I recommend the Teppanyaki Set with Wagyu Beef - make it medium well .. Blow Torched Maki is good...

Try the Ebi Curry Ramen ;) so delicious! Thumbs up! ;)

Sadly, only the size of this tempura bento can be remotely used to justify the price (500++). The taste is non-existent for most of the food, rice isn't Jap rice , & the salad had a weird fishy smell.

Love that their crew served the kids with small spoons and forks!

The salmon sashimi wasnt fresh, tasted like rubber. The tempura if you dont use the sauce is super bland. Chicken and ebi teppan were so-so. Just go to kimpura, same price but superb quality.

The Akira roll was great!

Think twice! Price is expensive , but Service is slow, and when we are here, the Fruits weren't fresh, the katsu was too oily, the salad was wilted, and the rice was still wet. :(

If you're in Shangri-La Mall and craving for something Japanese, avoid Akira. Servers rarely smile and slow to assist customers. Mom and I decided to just leave. Pricey na nga, poor service pa. #boo

The Japanese fried rice and steak wasn't served hot but taste wise, it was good.

Get the chicken teppanyaki .

Wagyu Ramen and Tonkatsu are disappointments.
