Had the eggs arnold, pancake and musli. All were DELICIOUS. I especially recommend the musli. They also have great coffee options . It is the best brunch place in Durham.
Great breakfast , wonderful bakery . Sometimes the line for the café can be frustrating. One cashier acts as the barista and makes the drinks before taking the next person in line . Worth it, though.
Tried the yogurt parfait and the pancakes this time. Yogurt parfait was really good. They also have fresh lemonade which is a great option to freshen your day.
You are supposed to order at the counter before grabbing a table. If they are busy, just order a quick beer and grab a menu so you don’t miss out on an open spot.
Get there early, it sells out quick! They have an amazing array of cakes , breads and pastries , however, you MUST try their Bretzel roll. Worth traveling from miles around to have. Outstanding.
Very nice cafe/restaurant. I was there for coffee and a pastry while using WiFi to work. Great atmosphere. However, I did witness a customer serve her dog water from a restaurant glass. Smh ????
The lemon bar was fantastic. A nice break in the day and a really lovely little spot!
Such a hidden gem in Durham! World class eats and a fine selection of European beer/wine.
Eggs Arnold was really good and the croissant was okay. Always a great spot for a nice breakfast .
Everything here is great and you can tell because it is always busy. I got the Reuben . Try the cream puffs .
Make sure to try their poached eggs for brunch !! Tasty! And the place is really charming; their pastries are delicious too.
An oasis next to a highway. A contradiction, and one with amazing pastries and good food.
The brunch is delicious, but you're missing out if you don't stop by the bakery--amazing! And delicious lattes , although mine was a bit cold.
Huge fan - the shnitzel is tasty, the tarts yummy, the breads just right. My go-to place for lunch with visitors.
The appetizer meat plate was delicious and the german beer selection was very good.
Brunch is always lovely here. Get there early if you want to take home bread or pastries from the bakery .
Best breakfast in the Triangle! If you want to sit outside when the weather is nice you might need to wait for a table.
The pastries are simply amazing. Also love their spacious covered patio !
Awesome place to work during the weekdays. Amazing breads and I would drive for miles for the Meisel’s weisse beer !
Chai Latte and Schnitzel was delicious. Vibe was great. Hidden gem !
The coffee is to die for. As well as anything with eggs or bread . Seriously good.
Tables upstairs have the nicest atmosphere but you have to take your own drinks up the stairs.
Incredible food! Chicken was very tasty, and the desserts are amazing! Ask for a table upstairs...

Claudia Kemmet-Cooper named her pastry shop after the guglhupf, a traditional German cake with almonds , rum-soaked golden raisins and powdered sugar .
Great food. Very neat decor. Disappointed with the service though. Loved the kaseplatte.
The pancakes are amazing! Such a perfect combo with the cooked apple slices on top.
Great pastries , good pancakes , and tasty brezels
Fantastic fresh menu. Leave room for desert .
All the breads are magical!
Great service and delicious food.
Needs a bit of salt but great place in general
The outdoor seating is fantastic. If the weather is decent, that's where you should sit.
Food is great and the outdoor setting is really nice
The pancakes are so amazing and fluffy for one brief moment I thought I was eating on a cloud on my way to breakfast heaven.
Amazing brunch .. The frittata and the coffee were just amazing
Really nice environment with good food and coffee !
Brezel sticks and every thing else in the bakery is delicious. Food from the Cafe is great as well .
Triangle's best bakery . Get the iced Vietnamese and the fruit tart . Divine.
Nice place, great desserts .
Check out the daily specials
They make fresh breads and pastries daily. Most are sold out by 3PM.
Get a muesli roll to counteract an egg and cheese biscuit from Biscuitville next door.
Go on Saturdays. They make Berliner donuts on Saturday mornings, with the best raspberry filling...
Take a date to dinner here. The food is local and fabulous. The atmosphere and lighting is intimate so it's a great date place . There is outdoor seating !
Get a Berliner Weisse - amazing sour German beer with fruit syrup ! Delicious!
Nice space and solid selection of local beers .
If it's crowded , don't claim a table before ordering your food. This really screws up the seating situation. Just try to relax, and by the time your food is ready, somebody else will be finishing up.
