National Museum of Contemporary Art

If you are tired of visiting conventional museums , drop off this newly renovated museum with the impressive façade, which is the home of exhibitions and collections from all over the world!

Beautiful space in an old brewery . Changing exhibitions - and an amazing view from the rooftop , including of Pnyka (look it up).

A must visit...final exhibition not the strongest one i guess...still nice works of Kounellis and interesting video art works..

Ground floor café is a quiet and calming space. The rooftop café is not operational however the view a treat.

The National Museum of Contemporary Art began its operation in 2000. Its foundation came to cover a gap oflong absence of an analogous institution for contemporary international art in Athens

Few decent exhibits , for now it's mostly the architecture itself that's worth seeing over the exhibits themselves

Always interesting things when I visit this museum . And ticket price for students is 2€.

it’s technically open, but looks like semi-operational: cafe’s not working, exhibition’s only at the ground floor

Established in October 2000, located in the building of the former brewery “Fix”.

Excellent rotating exhibitions .

Temporarily closed in Sept 2018 for installation of permanent exhibition .

Οι εκθεσιακοί χώροι του μουσείου φιλοξενούν ως επί το πλείστον προσωρινές εκθέσεις σύγχρονης ελληνικής και διεθνούς εικαστικής τέχνης.Το προσωπικό είναι πολύ ευγενικό & άψογα καταρτισμένο!

Ένα μουσείο σύγχρονης τέχνης, που δεν έχει να ζηλέψει τίποτα από παρόμοια μουσεία του εξωτερικού . Ξεχωριστή αρχιτεκτονική, ωραίες εκθέσεις . Η θέα από την ταράτσα του κτιρίου, απλά μαγευτική.

Προχειρότητα και επιπολαιότητα σε όλο της το μεγαλείο..: 20 μετα-έφηβοι που υποτίθεται είναι στην υποδοχή και τις πληροφορίες αλλά χασκογελάνε.. άστεγοι με τα σκυλάκια τους στα σκαλιά.. βρωμιά..????????

Ας ξεκαθαρισουμε κατι: προδιαγραφες για μουσειο δεν εχει , Τεχνη δεν υπαρχει σε κανενα σημειο του χωρου, το μονο που μπορεις να κανεις εκει ειναι να γελασεις!
