Used to be called the hobgoblin which is a better name. Ale is great and there are lots of nooks and crannies. Fav pub in Reading

Friendly staff , great beer and great company. Leave your phone on silent and enjoy the lack of cheesy ringtones going off every 2 minutes. Binghams Smiled was launched there on 18th April.

Plenty of beers that change often. They know how to keep a nice pint. The booths out the back are nice, but fill up fast after 5pm. Christmas brings mulled wine to the bar !

The interior rooms are very comfortable and private to have nice conversations. Beers are nice of course
