Excellent food in a lovely olde worlde pub . Adjacent to Robert Plant's house and George Clooney has a place up the road . Beware the small car park - expect to have to park on narrow surrounding roads

Great old village charm in both the pub and the rooms. Sit outside in the summer in its own little cul de sac by the church .

The food is really really great. Plus every thing else I saw good wise looked fantastic. So I'll have to go back to try them

Decent food, busy Saturday dinnertime around 1pm, fish n chips was good. Decent real beer too. But didn’t like having over £6 service charges being added for 2 seems to be pretty steep!

Probably the best braised beef I've ever had. Absolutely delicious.

Walk through church yard to get to river . Short walk to Sonning Lock on Thames .

Proper old pub , great setting - traffic can be a pain but worth it
