Inkpots is a hiking trail Banff located in Canada.
Johnston Canyon Banff AB Canada
Nice pools and a scenery with a wilderness feel. It takes 5 hours return at a leisurely pace. Recommend starting from Johnston Canyon (amazing), but be early to get a parking spot .
Hiked it from Johnston Canyon and that hike is rough. A lot of steep climbs and declines. The inkpots are cool! You basically end up in a valley with a river . Gorgeous but lots of mosquitos.
Definitely worth the trek out for the gorgeous colours. Can either join up from Johnston Canyon upper falls w/connector or Moose Meadows. Bit of a hike with a bit of elevation gain.
A long hike up and not really worth it. Falls are better...
The Johnston Canyon trail is NOT plowed in the winter and it can get VERY slippery. - Scenic Travel Canada
amazing waterfall - Anna
Nice hike up to two waterfalls. Can get slippery with snow and ice but worth the visit. - Jonathan Yu
