Ordered the tempura soba and it was great! Soup and soba were tasty (that's a given) but wasn't expecting the tempura to be just as good! Crispy batter and fresh prawns . Nth can beat that combination!
this place is amazing. order the cold udon with chicken tempura and the hot udon with shrimp tempura . the tempura is the best i’ve ever had, ever. order one hot and one cold, as it’s very different!
Obsessed with the hot soy butter pepper udon with (or without) an egg yolk and a side order of shrimp or chicken tempura . I always go out of my way to come here for udon .
try both a hot and cold udon , which have a totally different texture. We loved the butter pepper hot udon and the cold beef udon with radish and egg . Chicken tempura is great too.
Brilliant noodles . The black pepper and egg was very tasty. Chicken tempura was good too.
Excellent udon experience... since then, we have never found any other places like this one. The beef was so fresh, the broth was a delish and the noodles were homemade , what else?
How do I even begin. This was a glorious experience. Udon in hot broth with delicious beef and tempura bamboo . It was UNBELIEVABLE. You must try it. ????. A nice cup of sake for after!
Cold udon is the way to go, if you want to experience chewy freshly made udon . The tempura is also perfectly fried, cooked just right and batter is light and not greasy. Expect some bit of lineup.
Happened upon this place after walking back from Yoyogi Park . The 40-minute wait was well worth it. Very small, but very friendly ppl. Best Udon .
I was hesitant at first, but decided to try the untraditional “carbonara ” udon . Turned out to be a great decision! It’s creamy and salty with perfectly textured udon noodles and tempura pork . ????
One of the best udon in Tokyo. Cheap and yummy! They also provide English menu. Personally think udon with soup is better; but the one without it is also good.
Excellent udon (handmade ) and friendly service . While not traditional, the Parmesan udon is delicious and a standout among the also delicious traditional choices.
If you want to fully enjoy the mouthfeel of Udon noodle , Zaru-udon(cold udon ) will be the best choice. Maru-ten(deep fried fish cake ) is also amazing.
This was absolutely amazing. Didn't know udon could taste so good. Queued for a while but 100% worth waiting for
Very tasty udon . Usually a queue to get in but definitely worth the wait!
Great udon and tempura . Generally a line .
Great udon , sat at the bar and had a full view of the cook making tempura . Entire restaurant Seats only 10 in total so no large groips
amazing udon that's handmade and cooked to order. noodles are chewy, fresh, and delicious.
The udon was so good. Get it with the egg and beef . Delicious! Prepare to order as you wait on line . Thankfully the menu has pictures! Use Google Translate for the rest.
Handmade udon noodles were yummy and the tempura was the best I've ever had. I was a noob and didn't know I was supposed to dip the noodles
Butter pepper udon with soft boiled egg is nothing short of amazing.
Lovely udon . Nice noodle and nice soup . Try "kake udon " with some tempura . Of course, don't forget a glass of draft beer !!!
They make their udon in the tiny store. Obviously it is brilliant but what blew me away was the tempura ! 完璧〜〜
Love this place. Had to come back twice. Great noodles made on the premises and the tempura is just GREAT and can be ordered separately. English menu available.
Excellent udon . This place is tiny so go early to avoid queueing
Really delicious homemade udon noodles . The tempera was also phenomenal. Very small place though, fits only 10 ppl but worth the wait! Very friendly staff that spoke Engrish!
Fantastic fresh udon noodles . The black pepper and egg combination might seem sober but is incredibly tasty. My favourite.
Hot or cold, the udon is amazing! Incredible chewiness that sets it apart from the rest. Not to mention the bumpin' edm mix playing over the speakers ????????????
Butter + pepper + egg (beef optional) is sooooo good! Def worth the wait.
This is super good!!! Definitely worth the queue. Got to try the cold udon , the texture is very chewy.
the black pepper , butter and egg udon plus a side of chicken udon will blow your mind, it’s so good
Fantastic udon . The place is tiny (only seats 10) so you may have to wait but it's absolutely worth it.
You can watch the owner making udon noodles on the spot. Tempura shouldn't be missed!
Great fresh handmade udon noodles & tempura . Small shop with a line at lunch time, but the staff and diners are pretty efficient. Recommend!
The line is misleading. They will sell out and close early (~180 parties). Be sure to get a QR code first. You’ll then have to queue again. Go w/#21 udon (upgrade). No regrets!
Best udon I ate.
Small unassuming spot, but the udon is the best I have ever had. Definitely worth the wait!
Yummmm. Thick delicious udon . Egg with pepper add beef was so tasty. Be ready to order while in the queue. Cash only .
It’s good and worth for their money but I think it’s overrated because it’s not super special for number one udon in town . And here is the huge lines because of this I think.
Hand made udon on the spot.... Small shop but very authentic ... Must try...
When there is a queue, for the purpose not to block others there is a break between the line so please ask where the end of the queue is before cutting the line . Normally at least half an hour wait
Spectacular udon and even better tempura . I recommend the cold udon with tempura chicken
Menu has English. Try the chicken tempura . So good!!!
Unbelievable Udon . They dont pre-cut the noodles , all are made to order. Great, friendly service .
Ultimate Udon in the smallest possible place (16 seats max) but definitely worth the long line ...
Both the tempura and udon here are top notch. Menus in several different languages. Small space best for smaller groups.
Our first meal in Tokyo was this tiny house made to order udon shop. It was an excellent introduction to local cuisine .
Best icon I've ever had; hot beef udon is like brisket with udon and delicious fried fish , highly recommended
Freshly cut udon noodle with tasty sauce. Small restaurant , but worth to wait.
The best tempura , great udon . Warning: big portions !
Possibly the best udon noodles in Tokyo in this standing only no frills establishment, definitely go for the tempura as well - Dan Castellano
Great udon! Pick your udon, then grab some tempura, and get your soup base after you pay. - Grantland
Best udon in my life. You can't go wrong with standard soy-source Seiro. - Motohiro Takayama

Beautiful place. Peaceful serene walk. Feels very calm to be there. Loved visiting this shrine a lot. They post signs for instructions. Have English. - Katrina
My favorite department store in Tokyo. Has a wide variety of gourmet food section of ready made food and desert. They have good discounts if you go after 6:30pm. - May Shigenobu
