The Mercantile Bar & Grill

Staff is really nice. Food is delicious. As starter we had the spare ribs with bbq sauce , perfect. Had the pasta carbonara and my gf had the beef stew with guiness . The prices are really affordable .

Arrive early if you want to get seats. The music is great, plenty of indie and the likes. No Katy Perry on a Saturday night, refreshing change!

The atmosphere is great, the live music fantastic. What else what would you want from an Irish bar ? Oh yeah, good beer . Guess what? They have it too :)

For those of you visiting from the US, they give you straws in mix drinks !! That's not something you'll often find in other bars round Ireland

OMG try the steak ! One of the best ever. Goat cheese is also amazing but portion is too small.

Big space , open plan. Can get noisy with chatter but otherwise good for food and drink.

Several areas, nice music , may get cramped on crowded days, but very fun.

I didn't like it, the place was generally dead, people weren't social and were mainly in their usual social groups. Not a good night out,and the music although amazing, was too disengaging.
