Catch the Sunday barista for a unique experience. It’ll take a bit longer but he’ll explain his whole process for your chosen drink (e.g. how he uses sugar in an iced latter).

Jason K

You'll wonder how you walked by for so many years without noticing this hole in the wall on Pike between 5th and 6th next to the Banana Republic. Maple syrup latte : just the right amount of sweet.

Charles E.

Right around the corner if you are staying at the Motif Hotel . Great coffee and tea but a small is only 8 oz so go for a bigger size!

Jeb

Ignore the older comments on cash only , they now accept credit cards!

Ricardo Hernandez

In my opinion, the best coffee in downtown Seattle (business district).

Cristina Dordas

If you are a coffee lover, that's your place! Excellent macchiato (the closest thing to our cortado / tallat) and great service. Kosta , the old guy that works there during weekends, is super friendly !

Shirley Liu

Get the maple syrup latte ! There's also a maple bacon latte option if you're brave.

Allie Caudle

A quaint coffee bar in Seattle that packs a kick. It is great stop for a true Seattle coffee experience. Be prepared, the walk up stand only accepts cash.

Rania

No fuss quick great coffee on the go. Made a point to pass by everyday when staying in downtown.

Luke Winikates

It's cool-looking, and ordering at the street window and sipping your espresso while pedestrians walk by is pretty fun. My espresso was super bitter though, not very tasty.

Ryan

Great hole in the wall (literally). Sit and enjoy the people watching on one of the benches

Austin Vegas

Great espresso , has outdoor seating on curb.

Valeriy K

Finally got here. It is indeed one of the best espresso stops, and not just in Seattle. Espresso macchiato is the best! Love this place.

Glo

Lavender latte ! Kosta (only weekends?) was so friendly . Also, 25 cents to use credit card (only weekdays?).

Chris Burrows

Best coffee in the retail corridor. Friendly baristas . And you get to sit outside for a few minutes and enjoy your drink.

The Artificial

This little coffee window is a Seattle icon and where the bike messengers get their caffeine. Enough said.

Allie Caudle

A great walk up coffee stand that packs a kick. Stop by for a true Seattle coffee experience. Please note they only accept cash.

John Ware

Perfect macchiato . Yes, even in a paper cup to go.

Melinda Miracle

Truly superior Coffee . Even just the basic latte is perfect. Make sure to bring cash. There is no card reader.

Karthik Raman

Great, kind service with tasty coffee and treats. No seating so a good place to stop while on adventures

Mary Jo

The best caramel latte AND maple syrup latte ❣️ we got a chubby cause of comments we read and yes..it's delish ????

Katie Yamada

The owner is such a friendly , hardworking man! The chubbies , like cookie blobs, are always delicious, he makes a mean espresso

Michele

Must go on Sunday’s when the older man is working...he’s the best

Emma Arvanitas-Monahan

I'm a terrible coffee snob/ex barista and Monorail is the best place in downtown probably in seattle to get your fix. Usually have to wash bad shots down with syrup and sugar...not here.

Andrew Furman

Great coffee , but no seating and cash only

Simon & Schuster Manager

Duff McKagan says this is the first real espresso stand in Seattle. Now some 30 years old, this stand can’t be overlooked in its importance to the culture of coffee in this town . http://bit.ly/phhnN0

Kaitlin Martineau

The lavender latte was unique and intrigued me to try other things, but one of the baristas wasn't very friendly . I was clearly a first time customer, but that wasn't a concern for her

Erin Palmer

Triple shot 16oz latte closest thing to a large flat white I have found in Seattle! Very good!

Lauren Sanders

This hole in the wall coffee spot is cash only . The espresso is delicious-- try a Burnt Cream latte .

Daniel

One of the best espresso places in Seattle, quick and easy, designed for people on the go. Make sure you try one of their homemade cookies !

Ryan Tamares

If you’re looking for a spot to relax at, look elsewhere—this coffee place is just a walk up window

Lianna Milleno

Cute place (not a sit down), funny signs, and kind baristas ???? love the day olds too

Amy Robertson

The Burnt cream latte is just the right amount of sweet...like a creme brûlée to drink

AmateurConcierge

Great cash only coffee window. $3.50 cappuccino to start the morning

Neel Hajare

Great open air setup with contactless payments, but cortado was meh

Liat Bandiel

Great coffee love the Chubby cookie ☺️

Jane Grafham

Very good Italian Sodas . Raspberry is one of the best!

Cute little espresso stand in downtown Seattle run by the friendliest old man on the planet. "Thank you for letting me be a part of your day." *sap*

Chai latte was a winner. Nice baristas too
