We tried the curry puff , bak kut teh noodles , har me noodles , teh tarik . Huge servings and all were v good! Apparently this place just opened a week ago and the original one is in Campsie .
A staggering menu of fried chickens (cereal! marmite !), classics, and a bevy of noodle soups , all with insane amounts of flavour. Take friends, get less dishes than people, finish with some kuih .
Serving size so large, you can feed your family with one portion. The Char Kuey Teow is nice and smoky. The Kopi Tarik is a bit too sweet.
Everything we had was great! Sitting next to the door we soon realised their Curry Puffs are popular due to the amount of people buying them! We tried them and they are AMAZING! ????
Top fave. is the hainan chicken rice . The rice is fragrant/flavourful. Soup as expected very chicken-ny. Also rec. the herbal tea it's only $1.60! and cures a long list of ailments (incl. bad breath).
Best nasi lemak I've had outside Malaysia, especially with chicken curry , and overall very authentic cuisine , great value for money ... 10/10
The cham is good for the adventurous tea and coffee drive key. Also definitely try the seri muka for dessert !
It's still crowded as usually since last time I came. Ordered basic kolo mee and nam yu pork rib , fish fillet vegetables soup rice , taro cake .. too bad they dont have chai kuey in this branch..
Portions are very generous here!Definitely get the curry puff and the pandan chicken
So, we're talking BIG servings here, and at Kingsford prices. 2x wins. Village Nasi Goreng & Belacan Lo Shu Fun were both B+. Crispy chicken was not bad, but it ain't no Ayam Goreng .
Curry puff is fantastic. So is their teh tarik . Nasi Lemak is so so only. Think Petaling Street or Mamak even better.
Large portions , good value and most importantly, delicious.
Crowded ! Seating and serving size best for 6. Plenty of kueh for dessert !
Char kway teow has that nice smokey wok flavour. Hainan chicken is better at their Campsie outlet.
Great variety, cheap and food taste great!
Have lots of malaysian sweets on weekends. There's even Ang Ku kuih
Curry puff is the bomb!
Cheap and decent food
Love the foods here!
Salted pork belly !
Stupid restaurant ! Make me Lao Sai for few times after ordering the nasi lemak -.-
Don't waste your energy asking anything from the male waiter . Not sure if he's dumb or deaf.
Well .. I thought it will be special.. But the taste is too ordinary for me...
One word...Terrible!
Mango pudding with sago and coconut milk is delicious! And some of the best teh I've had in Sydney. - Bree
Very authentic Malaysian food, tried the duck egg charkueytiao, salted egg squid and hainanchickenrice, all of them were sooooo good ???? Their charkueytiao is a must try! ???? - Shay Pang
Nice and cheap!! - Hendy Ongkodjojo
