Gus Fruh Park is a hiking trail Barton Hills Austin located in United States.
Barton Hills (Barton Creek Greenbelt) Austin , TX 78746 United States
There is awesome up and down hill running if you go to the left and up a bit. A good run/climb
If you walk to the left for about 10-15 minutes, there's a huge tall flat(ish) rock that's perfect for sunbathing , reading, or picnics .
Fun trial walk and dog friendly
Pretty rocky trail !
Usually the first Greenbelt swimming hole to go dry. If there's water here, there's water at all the spots along the creek.
We came at the end of June and it was empty.
There's water this year. Walked down and waded. Rock the rope swing . Yea'ah
Completely full and perfect one minute, dry as a bone the next... :(
Such a beautiful escape from the city. Gets crowded. Bring a picnic. - B W
Great place to stop for tacos on a hike through the greenbelt. Bacon & black bean breakfast taco is the bomb. - Nathan P.
Solid hike in the heart of Austin. Beautiful and also difficult, don't forget a bathing suit! - Victoria U.
