Ask for a "Chocolate Doctor Freeze" for dessert ! It's a milkshake mixed in front of you, with chocolate syrup , ice cream , and a liquid base they do not disclose. Well worth it.
Great old school greasy spoon dinner with incredible staff . Order eggs and don't miss the waffle . Make sure to ask for the pour butter and syrup .
Well we had an awesome waiter (ask for Dennis) also there is the infamous Marvin Day there that is the face of Camellia Grill. Prompt service had our order out within 15 minutes their hot food ????????????
Dr Michael Lange says this place brings back memories!! I used to work at St Charles Vision that was next door and had many a breakfast and lunch here, excellent service and delicious food!
One of the best breakfast spots in New Orleans. Pecan waffles , chocolate freezes , killer omelettes , plus the best service! Love this place
First time and I must say the bacon egg omelette , hash browns , and pancakes were rather delicious. New Orleans has been good to me. I would recommend this place to fellow tourists .
This old school diner always has breakfast lines , sticky floors, and southern charm. With buttery omelettes the size of your head & filling shakes you'll recover from a long night out in no time.
Although small and crowded at the eating bar table, this restaurant is incredibly awesome! The kindness and fast service of the waiters was amazing. A truly great eating experience.
Late night breakfast : Camellia Grill is a late night dive. You get everything from an omelet to the really greasy top grill burger at that time of night.
Depending on the time, there’s usually a line , but it moves quickly. Amazing breakfast … omelets are phenomenal, great malts , burgers are excellent, and the coconut cream pie is a definite fave.-KD
This place is amazing with awesome food. Founded in 1946 and the waiters here are crazy entertaining. Such a dope vibe for a brunch .
This location literally had some of the best service I have ever had in all of my culinary escapades. EVER.
Bacon egg and cheese sandwich . Get the sweet potato pancakes !
Now this what I call service: I walked in asking whether they'd sell me a Dr. Pepper 's. They gave it to me w/out asking for money. Never ever had experienced that before. I am flabbergasted :))
Amazing place to grab food. Well worth the trip out the French Quarter. Enjoy the ride on the St Charles Streetcar to get there
Burgers are delicious! Fun little place to stop while in town - ride the streetcar right to it!
Excellent service and a true New Orleans experience. Best omelet in town .
If Marvin is serving you, sit down and enjoy the show. He is a rock star!
The fried mac & cheese bites are amazing. Must get as a side
Hands down, the best pancakes I've ever had. Never miss breakfast here when in Nola.
OMG!!! The best Reuben I've ever had! & the sevice with a song & a smile is awesome!
Have to inform everyone that the discount provided through american express has never been authorized, any info on the provider of this would be appreciated. Sorry for any inconveniences.
I didn't see any tips about the muffaletta , but ot was amazing - good choice. Everyone else loved their omelettes . Ask Will to make you a cherry coke .
A great burger . Get the one with the fried egg
The omelettes are whipped so they're super light. The pecan waffles are fantastic too.
Chef 's Special Omelette & a Chocolate Freeze . OMG, to die for!
the stools may be set low but the staff makes you feel like you are sitting on a throne
Get whatever kind of eggs or waffle you want, but add grits and hashbrowns . Finish it with a freeze to go.
Fun place to have breakfast but get there early! I got there at 8 am and there was still about a 20 minute wait.
Very good fries . The cheese fries are nice because it is a slice of cheese melted on top (not the fake cheese )
My omelet was cooked perfectly. I loved the experience here, people were so nice.
The Mexican omelette will satisfy that late-night diner craving you're having right now.
This is an amazing place. Make sure to get the chocolate milkshake and a small glass of ice water. Be prepared to wait outside in a long line on the hot weekends!
Fresh grilled chocolate ???? pecan pie ???? a la mode ???? and and Oreo freeze ???? ????
Great place to eat. Foods so delicious that it is worth the needed cardiologist visit afterwards
It's all counter dining, so make sure that everyone in your party is comfortable sitting on stools.
Make you you are vigilant about seats as the person at the door does not care and people will bump in front of you. Tourists ? You bet!
places like this that live on their former reputation, but serves horrible food today should go out of business. I’ve tried four different things there, and all were offputting except the BLT
The customer service is second to none. Love those guys.
What can I say! He food is AWESOME!!! He wait in line is worth it!
Vanilla Freeze and a chili cheese omelette makes for a perfect meal anytime of day!!!
For tourists and locals alike... The camellia grill is GOOD.
The chocolate freeze is a great milkshake
The cheeseburger dressed & with grilled onions is a delicious and satisfying classic!
