Great place to get reasonable price fritters and meehoon . Local style food. Bring back the childhood memories.
The bee hoon was pretty good - fragrant with some wok flavour. Sweet starch sauce was excellent: thick & flavourful, not just sweet. Chili was decent.
Hands down though the meat roll was the best item - crispy , flavourful with a nice spice mix & meaty taste.
This stall used to be at Maxwell market . Egg slice was crispy with a rich flavour. Liver roll was flavourful. The sausage was pretty good.
Out of the two ngoh hiang guanqiang stalls in this food centre, I prefer this one.
We are there cuz there was a picture of the owners with SR Nathan ???? It wasn't blow-ur-mind yummy but was ok!! This plate cost us $7.
There are two ngoh hiang stalls in Maxwell . IMHO, this is the better one, worth a try!
Delicious Soft Food: Yam Cake Chee Cheong Fun with fragrant sesame sauce & generous portion of chilli & sweet sauce @$2. This version is softer & more appetizing than usual ones found at coffee shops - Jess Thia
Besides bean sprouts (taugeh), bowl is served with 5 ingredients. Enjoyed the meatball. My least fave is fried dough - Cheen The Curious
Call before you go to avoid long waiting time, closed on Wednesday. Overall my favourite claypot rice, must go once a week! - Sin Ping O.
