Rick Bayless' Mexican cuisine features griddle-baked tortas filled with chipotle chicken , beer-braised beef short ribs and pork chorizo . Also enjoy molletes, soups and salads and a guacamole bar .
Download the app for your phone. Order ahead, skip the line , and have it ready when you get off the plane !
Probably the best airport food in America. If you're in a breakfast mood, the eggs and chorizo torta will set you straight.
The food is probably the best at the airport. Can be busy so make sure you got time before you order.Try the Mexican hibiscus tea , when cold helps relax the tension and brings the body pressure down.
Expensive but good quality food. Guacamole and corn salad with crispy chicken ($25), alfajores (Argentine cookie with tres leche and coconut flakes , $5), and a mezcal drink ($16).
My favorite place to grab breakfast , brunch . Never disappointed. Great consistent and fresh Mexican food in the go!
Not sure this is anything like the tortas I've had in the past, but my mushroom (vegetarian ) was amazing! As well as the margarita I got at the bar (tho it wasn't available for take-out ????)
Pro tip: skip the line & grab a seat at the bar to order everything: tasty fast quality food, but expensive beer/cocktails. You can’t order liquor from the front counter! lots of vegetarian options .
If you've got 10 minutes to spare, grab a torta made with all fresh and local ingredients . Best sandwich I've had in an airport by far.
Delicious pepito torta ! The bread was a little tougher than I'd like but excellent quality and flavor. Def get the loaded guac and chips ! Best airport food ever!
Takes time but yummy sandwiches . Milenesa torta - great chicken (not dry at all) and green salsa with amazing flavor. Raspberry prickly pear agua fresca was too sweet for me. Good excuse to layover!
You may have a bit of a wait for a Torta but very worth it. I had the cochinita pibil Torta . 10 minute wait because they are cooking these tortas . Stop in if you have the time. Very good.
The wait might be long, but it will be completely worth it when you bite into those juicy, flavorful tortas . Their egg breakfast tortas are a great way to wake you up before an early flight. 5⭐️'s.
Everything is awesome. Some of best food in airport . The Bloody Maria is a winner + any of the Tortas . Beware the habbie salsa--it's worthy of caution. Very good & very hot.
Man, I can't recommend this place enough! If I'm about to miss my flight I still make a point of stop by(FTW)! Try the Pepito or Cochinita Pibil Torta or the fully loaded Guac ! Have an agua fresca !
Cubana is the best sandwich of all time! This is the only food spot in Terminal B worth hitting. Soooo good!
Torta Cubana may be my favorite sandwich ever. Expect to wait at least ten on it. I often carry them on to flights -- gives you something to do.
Everything I tried was delicious from the mushroom torta to the corn chowder to the alfajore. They do have table service which isn't obvious! This place just made it into my faves for airport food !
Best place to kill some time between (delayed) flights. Service is great, food and drinks are even better. Order the guac with pepitas then get the pepito tortas . Sooooo good! Plus you can charge up!
Holy wow. This is great. Fresh, tasty. They understand how airports work...so you can wait at the bar for your food and can take your food onboard! Great taste. I got the Pepito.
This place is amazing. Completely obsessed with their perfect margaritas , friendly staff , and delicious food. Don't go anywhere else while you're in Terminal 1. Solid A :)
I had their egg and bacon torta and it was unexpectedly good considering it's airport food . (It's still airport though.) By the window facing gate B11, there are power outlets underneath the counter.
The best food in B terminal and their margaritas are awesome.
The egg and chorizo was incredible. Add the tomatillo salsa . Your stomach on your next flight might be slightly difficult because of the spice, but worth it!
Real food takes time and fresh ingredients . This is real food, despite the airport location. Not for those in a rush or on a tight budget, but delicious, interesting, rewarding.
Short rib pepito was excellent. If you have 10 mins for them to make it for you it's well worth it.
Get the pepito sandwich but the gluten free version which is in a bowl of beans. Soooooo amazing!! Also the hibiscus iced drink
Tried the Pepito Torta , delish!! Got some kick to it. Next time i'd go directly to the bar , because you can order off the menu and skip the line .
Chorizo torta must be eaten immediately! The bread has this beautiful subtle crunch. The sandwich is good cold as well but u r missing the point...near B10
Choriqueso torta is my favorite but really you can’t go wrong w anything on the menu
These tortas are good...so good you will often push the limit of making your flight. You don't truly love these tortas unless you've done the Torta run!
The best food at Ohare, hands down! Near gate B11, if you have the time (usually a ten min wait for Torta ), worth the walk over from C or E/F concourse!
Definitely some of the best food you can get in any airport planetwide. A totally legit cochinita pibil , and great salsa . It takes 10mins to get a torta .
Get the egg and chorizo torta . This place make authentic Mexican tortas (with a cost of about 10 times what you would pay in Mexico)
Always love this place but they took a favorite--the caramelized plantain--off the menu. Actually it's still on the menu board but they stopped serving it. Either add it back in or quit tantalizing!
Make sure you fly out of Terminal 3 at O'Hare when leaving Chicago so you can eat here. Chipotle chicken torta is awesome - like so awesome that you would eat this even if you weren't at the airport .
Cazuela bowls with black beans , sweet potatoes , eggs , cheese , arugula , and avocado . Tortilla strips optional.
Excellent food, the Cubana with a mango Aguas Frescas is my personal favorite. They package it to go, easy to take on the flight.
The Eggs Rajas breakfast sandwich is actually delicious. Fresh avocado , filling ingredients, a toasty crust. Loved it!
If you're looking for some good food, this is the place. But it does take about 10 minutes as the food is made fresh. Highly recommend the grilled shrimp
Their tortas are among the best I've ever had, which means it's easily the best airport food I've ever had. Worthy of a detour
Enjoyed the choriqueso and a classic lime agua fresca . Unlike most airport food , it didn't make me feel gross afterwards! And the multiple plugins near at the wall seating were really convenient.
Delicious food, soup and salads . Just plan on taking some time they are slow! Oh and don’t expect the employees to be nice or ask for anything “special”, that’s grounds for dismissal! NO SOUP FOR YOU!
There are power outlets all over the place, under the main bar , under the window bar , under the seats of all the tables! And yes, the food is amazing!
Truly great tortas - I usually get the cubana - and margaritas . Made to order, so leave enough time. Eat in or take out .
I get to the airport early, just so I can eat here. The Cubana is what I first tried, and it's so ridiculously good I haven't tried anything else. Please open locations downtown, Rick!
Order online to skip the wait! Easily avoided a 20+ minute wait last night.
Truly a treat to had great food in an airport . Order the fully dressed guacamole and the Cubano and hope you're flight is delayed so you can enjoy your meal!
Best food in all of Ohare. You won't be sad you made the trek for a bite to eat. All the tortas are fantastic!
