Nice hotel , good staff , good location if you want to travel to singapore. Recommend to get the deluxe room facing the sea. Nice pool and also great variety breakfast . Surely will stay here again.

It is a comfortable hotel , nice sea view but do request not to stay near the Hive music bar , else u definitely will not get a peaceful rest... They just keep play music and keep singing... ????

the best customer experience ever! all and I mean all the staffs were sooo helpful & friendly . other hotels shud come here & learn a thing or two. if I have 10thumbs, I'd give 10thumbs up.

I always like this hotel especially when I come to JB. Well service is always bad in Malaysia Hotel anyway. So I always be kind to them and sure they will treat us well . Kita senyum dulu...

Love the bed. Customer service not really bed compare to the grand palace orchard. The basement parking really scary. The pool not for the kids below 3 years old. The view really love it

One of our 2 favourite hotels in JB . Think they did a recent refurbishment and rooms are better now. The "sea view " is unbeatable

Good customer service, comfortable bed , nice buffet breakfast (RM25 per pax) and excellent location. Those looking for nice seafood , go to Ong Shun Seafood Restaurant , Jalan Abdul Samad nearby.

Best hotel in JB . Why beds are clean and fresh smell. I can use S'pore line to surf my stuff. Plus I accidentally broke soap plate, declared & never charge me. Hv a great stayed for 5 times.(*¯︶¯*)

Nice hotel , nice room & nice view . But don't take rooms near the pub , u will scream!!!!

The room is comfortable but i’m not recommend this hotel if u sleep 1 room wit ur fren coz of d bathroom window. Even if u shut the blind, u will still feel insecure (if u are havin insecure issue)

Everything is good here.. the bed, pillow , environment, the room, breakfast and many.many more.. worth every single cent.

Please dont make a mistake. There is city view and sea view . Just make sure which view you want before its to late. Hahaa.

During our stay at this hotel . It's quite disappointed when 5star hotel doesn't feels like 5 star hotel .. we have some problem when water stagnant on toilet floor..and it's quite slippery.

Nice window view and staffs are friendly in general. However, lights tripped, non-functional fridge , water leakage in bath room, noisy (doors banging), and wifi only works the first few hours.

Having great facilities. Great buffets and hospitality . Not friendly to foot walker to get to closest restaurants etc

It's nice and relaxing on the club lounge on L15 and worth paying the upgrade. Wifi in rooms is appalling though, keeps dropping connection and slug slow speeds.

Old. Run down. Bathtub mouldy. No lounge chair in room too so if u come +1, stand while ur partner sits & eats. Service slacks too. Little attention to detail/no focus. Late checkout pay 1/2 day rate.

Worth for money,normally hotel mcm ni even' 5star pn still ada bau hancing,but this THISTLE totaly different' gud environment and wth wide scale room size!

Standard has dropped tremendously! Cleanliness and maintenance of the hotel is atrocious! Service staff at the Oasis and at the gym are listless and haven't the understanding of hospitality .

Love the view ! Location is nice to chill for your weekends.

The first room that i get with leaking closet. The 2nd room, aircond doesn't work. other than that its good place to stay only minor things have to be upgraded.

I like the cars at the Valet. Reminds me of the Johor Palace Tuesday parking lot .

Ask for corner lot room (applicable for deluxe room only) - the view is spectacular!

Rm417 per night on deluxe room is not to expected standard except the bed is soft. Tv spoiled, floor cracked, water heater rusted, dim lights and it took more than 1 hour to ur doorstep after a call.

Must try their 180 degrees improvement of their breakfast menu . Kudos to the management of Thistle JB.

Breakfast and room service was pretty good. Room was cozy but needs repairs (bathroom door looked like it was going to fall apart ).

Go for the best banana fritters in JB @ Mawar - next to the hotel

its rate is like 5 star hotel , but the TV like budget hotels channel. The non smoking room, smell like cigarette smoking room.
