These are my favorite frites anywhere, and the sauce to match. My favorite is the groene peper saus. Notice how many locals are there. Sausmeesters, indeed.

This place is said to have the greatest fries in Amsterdam . The truth is, fries are almost the same everywhere, but these guys have like more than 20 sauces to match your fries . And they are good!

Favorite place to get fries in Amsterdam . I usually get a drink with it across from here. They let you sit inside or on the terrace if you order a drink at "de Havelaar"

It’s worth the 10 minute wait. If you want to sit down and have a drink, the pub/cafe directly opposite allows you to sit inside or outside as long as you purchase a beverage.

The curry mayo onion special is so so delicious! The curry is spicy enough (unlike Samurai which is too much), onions are raw and crisp and mayo is cooling and creamy.

Ordered patat oorlog. This is truly the best fries I have ever had!! A must try in Amsterdam!

Great place to get a portion of Dutch/Flemish fries . Try it with Peanut sauce or order it “Speciaal” (with chopped onions , mayonnaise and ketchup ).

Vleminckx makes the best fries around by far. It’s not a restaurant , but a hole-in-the-wall take away . It’s located in a small alley off major shopping street Kalverstraat.

So much yum. The medium size is plenty big. Got the Belgium sauce for authentic Belgian fries .

So good that I only remembered to take pictures after eating half the fries ! It's worth waiting the long queue.

Most known fries place in town . They are fairly expensive but pretty good. You can get a big cone+2 sauces for 5€. Almost 30 kinds of sauces

The best fries in town . This place is a hole in the wall and you only notice it because of the lines of people cue-ing up. If you like spicy try out the Samurai sauce and the other different sauces.

The Joppiesaus was great but the fries were almost all edge pieces in my cone so they were super crunchy. The normal fries were great though :)

The best fries in Amsterdam ! Although there might be a queue, it's absolutely worth waiting.

Plenty of sauces to choose from, have the mayo and add another sauce! Have to admit, the fries are a little on the salty side.

Have sauce put halfway the fries as well , so you don’t run out but run into warm sauce after finishing the first half of your fries … ????

I was recommended the sate ` sauce (peanut butter ) and was not disappointed. Not much room to sit outside; if you want to use the tables from the (nice) bar next door you'll have to buy a drink.

Order your drinks at the cafe on the opposite side. Ask for an empty beer glass for your fries .
