Close to the 5th avenue, room is small but cozy , a bit cold in the bathroom in winter, the view from 14th floor (hotel 's bar ) is amazing. And of course you get all of this for adequate price!
Named for the renowned Ava Gardner, AVA Lounge 's retro design, rooftop locale and perfectly curated list of cocktails make it the "it" place to see and be seen. Paparazzi not included.
Great hotel . Great price. Fantastic location. Nice Staff . Clean rooms . I would stay here again. Downside....the worst elevators ever...seriously the elevators are so wonky...allow Extra time.
Aged, worn, dungeon-like rooms facing a wall and thin doors.
Every Monday night there is an "industry party" in the Penthouse of Ava Lounge above the Dream Hotel . I love this place. Beautiful views and a chill environment.
Ava Lounge on the 14th floor serves as a respite from that neighborhood 's hectic pace. The vibe is meant to be retro-meets-Riviera. C'est la vie! Read more
Instead of the usual bible in your nightstand, you get the Teaching of Buddha. A nice little surprise.
Like a 1/4-size W wannabe, better than I expected. Hangers, water pressure and hot -- vs. barely warm -- water would be a nice touch. Very helpful staff .
Nice, very fresh and cozy hotel . The view from the top roof is awesome !
Shack up here for a sophisticated NYC weekend, or do as Kelly did and host a combination Halloween fete and throwdown in the hotel bar .
Friendly staff , awesome neighborhood ! Enjoy Hell's Kitchen's pubs , bars &restaurants !
Winard is a boss. He works the late shift at the concierge desk. Personable and gets the job done, always with a smile.
Check out the fish in the lobby aquarium :) also, serafina room service is unbeatable.
Small rooms but they are clean and modern.
Request a handicap access room, if not in use. Larger and right of the elevators for no additional cost. :-)
Room smells like smoke, carpet is so old you wouldn’t want to walk on it barefoot, gnat infestation in the bathroom , too close to Broadway you get sirens all night long, noisy hallways and doors….
Great option to stay in Manhattan! It's in a cool location near from good Restaurants , office buildings and cool attractions !
Great comfortable spot for drinks with friends.
Fun fish tank downstairs, meat market upstairs.
Must stay in a jr suite to get some room. Nice staff
this place is a 'must do'. love the atmosphere, neon lights under the bed are extra hot.. club on the penthouse floor, so cool.
Great Hotel !!!! Clean , cool and close to anything!!!
Apparently pet friendly ????! Great location.
In a great location, rooms & the bathrooms are small compared to other hotels in same price range! 13th floor is noisy due to rooftop bar if you're a light sleeper prob not the place for you!
Champagne Room in Ava Lounge (Penthouse of Dream Hotel ).
Small room, but cozy . I read reviews about it being noisy , besides honking horns, I heard nothing. Loved the lobby.
Room is adequate but tiny. Best part is the access to crunch fitness down the street.
Believe me, you'd rather stay at the Dream's downtown counterpart.
The beds have blue underglow. And they sometimes leave fresh fruit on your pillow .
awesome lounge on the penthouse , great music and dim lighting - had a delicious glass of white sangria !
I don't reco this place. Rooms are worn. 1st night, room was #209 right above street, next to elevator-garbage trucks & others loud until 2am. Staff 's nice.Moved my room, but TV 's broken. Slow wifi too:(
Great location, not too close and not too far away. Great rooms.
Decent sized rooms for Midtown Manhattan, but pretty much everything here could do with an update.
Check Out Ther Bar On The First Floor On #Saturday Nights - Its A Fun #Party #NYC
Order all of your drinks from Sonja!
Total rip off, why book a hotel to have limited access to some of the amenities ...I refuse to pay $1,500 to get into a rooftop bar/lounge in the place I'm staying like let's be real here..
Friendly staff
Very nice hotel
Don't bother with the bar downstairs - they're more concerned with image than service. Head up to the penthouse bar instead.
Check the rooftop bar and the top floor of the bar
i am bored anyone in ny and want 2 go clubbing to nyc after hours club? and tour the city if nothing is open.
Basically hostel like rooms with leaky AC units. Bright side is they act as humidifiers and musty up the rooms. Terrible hotel . Decent bar .
Rooftop lounge ...beautiful, clear and warm night.
near from hearst tower, times square, broadway and much more...
Rooms are TINY. Overall the hotel is clean and pretty hip . But most guest rooms are only big enough for one person.. Two is a crowd.
Not for biz travelers. Slow internet with absolutely no upload. Couldn't watch a trailer let alone download a movie for the plane . Nice staff but tired rooms.
The rooftop deck is off the hook and has a great urban canyon feel to it.
Koo view from the penthouse rooftop , but the atmosphere & prices are lame. There is far better rooftops with far better environment in NYC.
Avoid staying on the 13th floor if you want to sleep. The roof top bar will keep you up.
I wish I could quote Biggie and say "it was all a dream" but this hotel is far from a dream. It pretty much sucks.
Great food, beautiful ambiance, and a great location. Fancy Shmance ... don't think I could afford to stay at the Dream Hotel but the restaurant was great for my business meeting - JC Earle
Not cheap but patio is nice for people watching, food is good and plentiful, cheesecake is to die for! - Stephen Weppler
It’s a very cool rooftop bar in Manhattan with a great view of Times Square. Not cheap at all. Bring your credit card. - Jeff H
24 hr galley access is uber convenient. Yobot is brilliant idea and implementation of technology. Staff is friendly. Rooms are called cabins. Small but amazing use of space and comfy. - Wendy Parsley
Absolutely love this place!!! Love the concept of it. Rooms are nice and comfy! - Αϋritа ॐ
The lobby is a great destination for an affordable cup of tea in a calming environment. They also have amazing sliders! - Lucky Magazine
