Dream Downtown

My favorite hotel in NY. Always happy atmosphere. Don't take the queens rooms they are too small and uncomfortable. pay a bit more and go for the king rooms - it absolutely worth it.

Fantastic "party hotel " with its signature PH-D club & Electric Room . Great views , great crowd. Best location between the Meatpacking District and Chelsea. Outdoor pool with The Beach Club. Have fun!

The designers incorporated as many circles as possible into The Dream's interior and exterior design, so this is the place for you if you're super into circles.

The Beach at the Dream Downtown Hotel features white sand imported from Montauk and a glass-bottomed pool, through which you can apparently see the hotel lobby, in a separate area. Read more

Less of a hotel , and more of a nightclub with rooms attached to it. Focus is less on guests than on hipsters frequenting the bar . Some of the bar staff have serious attitude problems. Good sized rooms

My favorite place in the city ! The views are great from the rooftop ! You should pre game a little because the drinks are a wittle pricey

Nice boutique/design hotel with buzzing bar and nicely decorated rooms. Roof top bar has amazing views but gets a bit dodgy at night.

Very cool neighborhood and super stylish hotel . The beds are super comfortable but the downside is the noise from the attached nightclub and rowdy drunk guests late at night.

Hipsters ' paradise and circles everywhere. Other than that - this is an ideal hotel of Manhattan in 21st century. Love it. Coming back soon

Check out the electric room...the sound is unbelievable. It certainly is electric. The dj was pretty great the nights I've been there but I know how quickly this can change. ????

Great hotel , staff is friendly and the rooms are good in price quality compared to gansevoort/viceroy. Warm pool!!

Trendy , loud and hopping social areas, great location. Pillow-topped bed distinctly uncomfortable though.

GORGEOUS HOTEL . Very "Vegas" like because it seems like it's a club when you walk in. Music is loud , people are having a great time and the atmosphere is great. Very nice decor

Compact, stylish rooms with a submarine like feel. Geared towards the "in town to party" crowd. The Mexican restaurant has surprisingly good seafood .

Gorgeous hotel with tons of interesting nooks and crannies. Get up to the rooftop bar if you can.

Great hotel with pool and a good night club - Phd. Perfect for you who go to NYC to shop, eat and party. (Is there any other reason btw?)

Came with a group, had a few cocktails , people watched all night next to the giant beer can American flag. Not too shabby. Watch out for drunk stumbling morons looking for the bathroom though.

Lounge area is a nice place to meet a small group for drinks and small appetizers . Just be prepared to pay the high end for NYC priced cocktails .

Awesome Hotel ! When staying in the city , you may get a shared bathroom , this hotel includes your own private bathroom , huge selling point for us.

Be very careful if you're here in business travel... won't get much sleep as many rooms will be affected by the numerous parties going on top, below and inside the hotel .

I feel like I bumped into the annual convention of the hipster church . The hotel is beautiful though ;)

Basement : a shabby-chic dance spot. Ground floor: restaurant . Rooftop : club with unobstructed views of the Empire State Building

Hotel feels old. For example carpeting, elevator , gym , some lighting, feel worn down.

One of my favorite hotel/clubs of which an owner has been arrested for lighting dogs on fire.

Literally rented 100 rooms and still weren't allowed to visit the rooftop bar ... So that was great!

Swanky , chic and hip hotel in a fab  location. Definitely a hotel for the young and impressionable. My stay was in one of the trendy loft-style rooms with a great view of the Empire Estate building????

I can’t believe I never checked out the rooftop pool until this summer. It’s tiny, but kind of like a secret hidden gem . Drinks are obviously overpriced.

Depeche Mode was playing upon our entry- I was sold just on that. Very cozy . Good vibe. Dark atmosphere.

modern rooms that feel dated, a focus on maintaining “hot spot” venues, entitled staff that offers Rude service

Instead of paying $10 for bottled water at the bar , go to the street vendor on the corner 9th Ave and 16th Street for $1 Poland Springs.

Love the place. However security guards are power-wielding little monsters so beware of the giant chip on their shoulders.

Paper thin walls. Your neighbors will be loud , drunk college students / couples from Italy who spend their entire vacation loudly celebrating the great "indoors".

Pretty meh hotel . Little things a bit shabby. Maybe worth while if you want to go to the club upstairs. But little class here. I prefer the Martime Hotel next door

Marble Lane (Lobby Bar & Restaurant ), Electric Room , and Ph-D are all celebrity sighting places PLUS the music is always good.
