Tao Downtown is gorgeous. The mood is set as soon as you enter. The vibe is zen and the environment is definitely upscale . Food, drinks and service are amazing. Splurge and get the fortune cookie !

Nightclub space used for early evening functions. Great art on walls, service and same tasty appetizers served. Miso cod , mini chicken drumsticks, nigiri sushi and lobster egg rolls .

Absolutely nothing bad to say about Tao. The music , THE FOOD, the cocktails , design, waitresses and service in general is just excellent. I'd keep visiting Tao for sure and would gladly recommend it.

The interior is amazing. Pleasure to the eyes. Music is loud which gives you a great energy. Food and service are amazing. Take out your wallet and enjoy the night.

Menu includes dim sum , sushi , yakitori , and shareable small and large plates. But the real draw here is the design. The 22,000 square foot space has statues , pillows , fountains , giant vases, & murals .

Amazing space and design, I've had better Chinese in Hakkasan to compare with similar-type restaurants . Lobster wontons are good, as is the tofu and mushroom salad . Cocktail wise - Ruby Red Dragon

Was a fan of midtown location but downtown trumps it in ambience, decor and somehow palate. Sea bass skewers - amazing. Black cod - amazing. Dessert - amazing. Get the point?!!! Go!

Really enjoyed the vibe, coconut shrimp , sea bass in banana life, and salmon sushi roll . If you don't get drinks, it's not outrageously pricy :)

They have a great menu. In different ranges of food and price. I personally love the Lamb Chops . The atmosphere is great and it looks so beatiful!

The 26 armed statue makes an incredible latte . Make sure ask for one after ur meal. Extremely lucky patrons may even get a neck massage and yes, it does groups.

The apparitions that haunt the entrance hallway aren't dangerous. While it's still ill-advised to wear crucifix style jewelry or mumble your favorite bible passages, they will only attack if provoked.

"Beautiful ambience" is an understatement, this is excellent. Try the duck , the lobster pasta and the beef starter.

Had my birthday party here, it's a nice spot for outing but the place is so loud it's impossible to talk. Dim sum was nothing special but the sushis were amazing. My husband also lost his credit card.

Fantastic ambience. Vegetarian options are limited. Shishito peppers were very good. Vegetarian Dumplings were good but a little sticky. Vegetable sushi was good but I've had better.
