Philippe never disappoints! Besides the awesome food and service, there's a great chance that you'll bump into a celebrity or two! Thursday nights are amazing, you don't want to miss any of them
The satay , the duck , the hand pulled noodles ... everything is delicious. Save room for desserts like the flaming baked Alaska and gold flecked chocolate cakes .
Definitely have a reservation and pray you don't get loud annoying girls sitting next to you crying that mom/dad won't pay for their shopping habits anymore. Get the crispy duck and Beijing chicken !!!
Come for lunch and have the special for only $20! Includes an appetizer , try the chicken satay , a main course, we enjoyed the velvet chicken breast and a sorbet desert and coffee/tea.
Not to be missed: the Maine lobster (wok fried), chicken satay , fried rice , lettuce wraps and bok choy ! Philippe never disappoints!
Chicken satay chicken satay chicken satay !!!! The duck salad is nice. Sweet and sour chicken , velvet chicken and Chilean sea bass was alright.
This is the Chicken Satay with Chef Chow's Famous Peanut Sauce . With its butter cream sauce and hints of shallots , this appetizer has more in common with French than Chinese cuisine .
Great lunch specials - try the lettuce satay wraps or steamed veggie dumplings as an appetizer , and the crispy beef as an entree. Fast, polite service - good spot for East Side lunch meetings.
This place is funny. Very high quality food in a club-like vibe. (LOUD ). Army of hostesses in front worried more about their hair than assisting customers. Some kind of backroom segregation going on.
Everything was amazing! But the sweet and sour chicken was thee best I've had by far. The midnight mojito was also the bomb!! Definitely a place to go
Did you know they have a cotton candy covered baked Alaska ? Now you do. Do it.
Loved Salt & Pepper Sea Bass ! It was really good! ????????
go with green salad , chicken satay and shrimp dumplings ????
Small cozy restaurant , I like the food but be aware that the food portion is plenty ????
Sweet & Sour Chicken , Vegetable Fried Rice are highly recommended ????
Try the Chicken satay - The sauce is amazing. If every #chinese restaurant served this #chicken #appetizer I would weigh 300lbs
Dope prefix lunch special ! Great lunch special 3 courses for $29 dollars!! Or just 2 courses for only $25 dollars!!
Sweet and sour chicken is amazing! Get the calamari appetizer , hands down the best I've ever had.
Among many household favorites (Chicken Satay , Jade Dumplings and Crispy Chicken ) the Beijing Chicken is one of the most succulent dishes offered at Philippe. Read more
The food was absolutely delicious! We had an eggplant dish , chicken satay , and crispy beef .
Ask for the main dining room (never go upstairs!)Get a lychee martini at the bar then go at least for the Peking Duck Spring Rolls and the Dumplings !
Good option for a business meeting. Ask for a table in the back. It's quiet there during lunch .
Gourmet Live sat down with NBA superstar Grant Hill of the Phoenix Suns and got the latest dish about his favorite restaurants , one of which is New York City ’s Philippe Chow.
If you're looking for upscale Asian, I suggest Hakkasan or Tao. Philippe is good but the prices are exaggerated. Though Hakkasan isn't cheap , it's well worth the price; this didn't feel that way
Very tasty pecking duck !!! yumyumyum♥nice place n pretty good service :) n must try lychee martini !!
Went for lunch . For nearly $40 (incl. lunch , drink, brown rice , tax, tip), it would have been nice to not have to grab something else on way back to office . Portion was tiny, and unsatisfying.
Everyone is right the chicken satay is superb!! However if you are getting a drink, go for the specialty drinks . Same as the price for a Bloody Mary $17 and martini $18. Not what the waiter told us.
Shrimp lettuce cup app $22, steamed snapper in black bean sauce $38. Clean , subtle Chinese food .
Lunch portion of the Beijing Chicken with Walnuts in Sweet Brown Sauce . Try this with the chicken satay .
The chicken satay & crispy beef are to die for!
im a fashionista so anytime im in the city im always on the upper east side...after shopping at bloomingdales i enjoy a quiet lunch ....lunch speacial $20 three courses
We love the pecking duck , the lettuce leafs and the hot and sour soup . We love that is open kind of late for lunch and the bar remains opened all the afternoon
Phillippe is so URBAN now. Most cocktails feature Ciroc and im pretty sure the music is set to DJ Khaled's pandora station. Not a date spot .
Unbelievably good Peking Duck , but the Lobster Spring Roll was an excellent surprise.
Everything on the menu is good especially their famous chicken satay
Like mr chow but better. less snooty. More menu choices and reasonable prices. Plus they don't force u to order shit and let u see an actual menu.
Order the crispy duck ! The best duck you will ever have. I fly 2500 miles just to have it here!
Lychee martini is the best and the chicken satay .
The glazed spare ribs are meaty, but pricey for the portion size.
The best in NYC!! Great food with a succeeded Chinese-American combination!! Also, very helpful and polite staff !
Chicken satay is amazing!!! Also try the duck salad and the sea bass as an entree!
FIAF Members enjoy a 20% off during lunch service! (regular menu only).
Try the baked Alaska dessert ! It’s ????
Asian fare with a contemporary feel. Order the lettuce wraps to start and the Peking Chicken as your entree and be ready to share!
This place is more about the scene than anything. But order the bigger sized plates as they are by far better value
The Crispy Seaweed appetizer is literally addicting, more addicting than your favorite guilty pleasure potato chip …
Chicken Satay is the Staple here.
The best Peking duck I've ever had.
Best lunch menu for the price/quality
The vibe completely changes from weekend afternoon to weekend night. If you prefer being able to hear your meal companion, go at lunch .
One of the best place! Nice food, amazing interior. Take duck is fantastic. - Елена Подтопта
My recommendation is to share appetisers rather than ordering a main each. They are wonderful and reasonably priced. - Malik Dhanani
very nice design store , very good costumer service and 24 hours open! ???????????? - SA
The arcade level is a personal heaven! Don't miss Magnolia Bakery as well????????✨ - AlAnoud A AlGhunaim
