Great speakeasy hidden away behind a secret door designed as fake wall in the Stone Coffee shop . Great cocktails ! Looks like it gets busy so best to make booking .
Hidden behind a coffee shop on 9th Avenue, this lively little speakeasy has live jazz on Monday nights. Book a table in advance and enjoy the great music and cocktails .
Hidden behind a dummy wall in the back of Stone Street Coffee Co. Facade is marked by a red light. Push wall back to get to the bar . Has a claw-foot tub in the center of the room. Order the Pimm's Cup
This is a speakeasy bar in the heart of NYC specializing in Gin and hidden inside a café ! I'm super into secret entrances and cocktails ! Bathtub Gin has both! Drinks and service are indeed solid
Great spot to take good friends or dates early evening or late night . Pretty cocktails , delicious apps and surroundings beg for great conversations. But beware the bathtub, it's anything but clean .
Gin cocktails in a speakeasy bar , great experience. The food is also great, tuna tartare tacos are amazing. Didn't have time to taste all the drinks, but there's no wrong choice here.
Amazing cocktails in a great little speakeasy . Hidden behind a coffee shop and worth booking a table in advance as it can get busy later on. Make sure to have one in the bathtub ????
Make a reservation to enjoy some great cocktails . This trendy bar is hidden inside a coffee shop . Great music , good for groups . Get the bathtub tonic.
Incredible place with real speakeasy vibe (it looks like a bagel place from the street) and amazing cocktails . Pricy but it's NYC. Burlesque show twice a week.
A gin lover’s haven “hidden” behind a coffee shop . Great cocktails , 1920s ambience and an intriguing bathtub in the middle of the room
Definitely get a reservation for their Tues/Sun show. They performances are really entertaining with a group, and the drinks/setting put a classy setting to the evening. An NYC must do.
Speakeasy that's hidden behind a coffee shop . Great drinks (albeit slightly pricey ), great atmosphere and great place to just hang out.
A bit of a shit show, but the drinks are great, and the staff is amazing. I've been there with disasters and they were almost too nice. I'm a whiskey guy, so I like the Creole.
Really good drinks. There's an actual bathtub in the middle of the bar which makes it a great place to take out-of-towners if you want to show off.
Go Sunday or Tuesday evenings to enjoy the Wasabassco Burlesque performances at no charge. Be sure to make a table reservation and tip the performers generously when you do.
In order to access this hidden little gem of a cocktail bar , you need to go through the "Stone Street Coffee Shop", the guy (doorman with the headset) inside the coffee shop will show you the way...
Sundays great Burlesque Show at 8:45 on Tuesday's at 9:30! The Entertainer is bad! Don't wear any hat and be sure he makes bad jokes about you! The girls are great! Love it!
Fun place with a good selection of gin and non-gin based drinks. Nice friendly bartenders and well executed cocktails . I recommend "The Anti-18th." Line moved quickly on a Tuesday.
Great drinks, great food, and awesome vintage decor and atmosphere. The live music was superb, but keep in mind that it gets pretty loud . One of my favourite places!
Great cocktails , friendly staff . If you like whiskey and a little spice get the Elk 's Club. Make a reservation .
Increasingly frequent lines undermine the fun of introducing friends to this hidden speakeasy . Talented mixologists & expansive cocktail menu , but crowds kill the experience. Go on a quiet night.
After seeing this on Sandra Lee's TV show we gave it a try, amazing cocktails and a really cool vibe. Highly recommend getting a table reserved if you are going on the weekends.
Cocktail menu is unique and delicious. Very friendly service , great ambiance. Make a reservation for a table!
Go for Tuesday burlesque nights! Either stand by the bar or make reservations in advance to get the best view of the show.
One of my favorite speakeasies . Love the interior and the burlesque shows . Gin cocktails are delicious.
Had a reservation for a friend's birthday with a party of 12. Cocktails were great, atmosphere is fun. We had a great time.
Fun speakeasy entrance, great cocktails across the board, and of course the bathtub in the middle fun to sit in or watch during the show :)
Stone street Negroni made with coffee infused Campari was out of this world. Also. The short rib sliders were obviously cheating, but totally worth it ...
Awesum place! Amazing shows! Even for a calm sunday night! Was a perfect experience! And cocktails are professional. Elks club is my fav!
On 6.22.13 had dinner & mojitos . Waitstaff very attentive and personable. Great food & atmosphere, can't wait to go back to see the show!
Make a reservation and come for the burlesque show . Takes you back to the roaring 20’s!
No matter how slammed the bar is, the cocktails are always spot on. Great place to kick it with a few friends during the week and let loose on the weekend.
One of my favorite speakeasies in NYC. Awesome cocktails and great bartenders .
Don't go without a reservation , but if you can snag one, you'll spend all night at this little speakeasy . Go for Tuesday night Burlesque .
We have to go through a little coffee shop to get to the actual bar . Had to make reservation beforehand for the food. Their gin cocktails are the best.
Friday/Saturday night DJ is perfect. Some of the best mixes I've heard in New York. Just enough nostalgia.
Appropriate location for dates and cocktails , I don't think I've ever spent less than $100 at this place in a night. The Burlesque shows are a bonus, although you'll find better elsewhere in New York.
West Side is off the hook: Hendricks, Fino sherry , St. Germain, cane syrup , grapefruit bitters , pressed cucumber & lime , & fresh basil on the rocks. Life-changing.
the place is nice, but small, they should remove some of the tables to make some room for the dance loving people ???? warning! they sell no redbull ????
Great atmosphere and show. Check out their website for their Burlesque show and make a reservation .
Cool hideout behind a coffee shop . Tons of specialty gin drinks if thats ur thing. Great whiskey drinks too. Try the "rocket" something or it may've been "bullet" something. (4 of 4 petals via Fondu) Read more
Had a great time here. Came on a slow night and genuinely walked past it as I thought it was a coffee shop . Come Tuesdays and Sundays for burlesque !
Very tasty cocktails ! Tried the different of their specials with Gin . Loved the El Gaucho and Gin Gin Cup. ;)
Speakeasy through the Stone Street Cafe . Great Chelsea bar . Great cocktails mostly gin . Look for the bathtub in the middle of the bar .
Went there for a Tuesday night burlesque show .if you are wondering what to do on Tuesday then this a good place to hang out if they have a show
Hidden behind a coffee shop , try this place midweek to avoid a line . Decent cocktails and large range of gins !
Tuna tartare tacos and a vesper make this slightly intense speakeasy tasty and relaxing. Not the best speakeasy in the city though
Go on a Tuesday evening and stay as long as you can for the burlesque show...or whatever the politically correct term for that is. http://www.uzonyc.com/?p=790
The bathtub gin martini is perfect- so smooth! If you want to try something not on the menu , ask Kevin to make you his specialty drink - The Lost Digits.
Sneak in for some gin . Come early in the evening so you can enjoy the space. Stick around if you find yourself comfortable !
A nice, relaxing lounge to grab a drink. Lines can be long on weekends but it's worth it, especially if you love a classic jazzy atmosphere. - New York Habitat
Tots and cocktails. You can't go wrong with that. Great place. - RC
Tried everything on the menu, all really delicious and refreshing. Highly recommend Sweeney Todd and Heirloom. Come on a weekday to avoid the crowds - Ina Li
The space is great, tucked under Chelsea market. A little escape with great cocktails and random books. Snag a table if you can! - Melissa Monsalve
Great value for your money! Get the artichoke pizza! - Simon Kratzer
