Santa Monica Bike Path

This ride is a lot of fun. We rented bikes once and rose ours there once. It's more fun to ride a beach cruiser because you can look around much easier. When crowded it is less fun.

Easy walking path right on the oceanfront . No fuss. Bring a warm jacket if going for the sunsets . Hard to beat the views .

Get ready to deal with all sort of people invading the bike lines , with total disregard for bikers. Sand all over the place, needs maintenance. But, it's the most awesome bike path in the whole world!

Great place to go for a cruise . The section by the Pier is crowded , but north of the Pier is calm and scenic .

The trails are flat and manicured and they hug the Pacific. From the Santa Monica Pier , it's just over three miles to Venice's skate park — a site to see whether you skate or not.

Just be aware of all the pedestrians on the path.

Pretty crowded during rush hour.

I don't know how to ride a bike

Too short and overcrowded. Good enough for running but don't expect to fly when in 2 wheels.

Watch out for sand... and peds!!!
