Sloan's Lake Park

Enjoy colorful sunsets over the front range and views of the downtown Denver skyline. If you're visiting in the summer months , be sure to see the annual Colorado Dragon Boat Festival .

This is the largest lake in the Denver city limits. Occasionally you will see motorized boats on it.

The diversity is my favorite aspect of the Sloan’s lake area. I also enjoy all the construction that is going on in the Sloan’s lake area. If you want to get in on the ground floor now is the time!!

be mindful of others walking and running the trails can get busy.

Nice park trail mostly flat. Best to avoid beyond early morning or late afternoon because of lack of shade along trail .

a great place to walk, run, bike . They have cleaned this place up really well . Only down side are all the geese, and geese poop .

Great for a walk or run. Smells decent with a nice breeze. But there are a lot of geese poop everywhere! Don't wear white shoes .

Great park with birds on the lake , playgrounds and running/walking path.

Approximately 2.6 mile run (on the cement path) around the lake ! If you run on the grass, watch out for geese! Don't worry, they won't chase you.

Great 2.5 mile loop to walk in the city !!
