Be sure you join the President's Club prior to checking in. It gives you a better room, newspaper and free internet in the room. Old hotel with lots of history, great location.
Words cannot express how much I love this hotel . Can I live here? Excellent service , pristine rooms and great restaurants . Can’t say enough.
One of the best hotel in terms of service. I stayed for 3 months and became friends with a lot of the staff . Julie of housekeeping gets an A+ for cleanliness and being trustworthy with my stuff.
In the hotel John Lennon and Yoko Ono staged their action «In bed for peace » and recorded the song «Give Peace a Chance». These days you can also stay in the room on 17th floor.
Presidential suites are spacious for families with kids esp when staying for longer time. The view is excellent overlooking the busy street and the kids are excited to see outside rather turning on TV
I have enjoyed my stay here so far in the oldest and biggest hotel in Montreal; however it is traditional in the European size and amenities
Totally refurbished in 2017. An excellent interpretation of what a contemporary large city- and business hotel should be like.
Nice, high quality hotel . You can exit the undergound from here and there is a nice hotel bar with live music (well , it's nice if you love piano music :-)).
Beautiful scenic views , warm hospitality & best strategic located in the heart of Montreal City
If you touch any of the chargeable snack items or wine for more than 30 seconds you get a bill for them (they're on sensors) and have to go to the front desk to clear it up before checking out.
Super ordinary hotel . Kid-friendly, but that was somewhat unappealing based on what I was expecting. I'd say skip it if you're looking for a hotel that works well with a romantic getaway.
In the middle of the downtown, great view and warm hospitality ❤️
Use the 2 elevators with red arrows and go to S1 and S2. Explore miles of restaurants and shops underground of Montreal.
Don't forget to try the Sunday brunch featuring Mediterranean dishes and wide selection of cheeses .
First class hotel with friendly skilled staff and excellent breakfast buffet
The room service Pacific Salad was huge and exactly what I needed after a day of traveling.
Gold Level a must.Very friendly staff and comfy bed .
Sign up for their free President's Club and bypass long line for check-in and benefit from free wifi
Beaver club at the lobby level of hotel is the first club in Canada established in 1785.
The parking is a gong show - can take 15-20 mins to get your car
If you like to sleep longer in the morning, ask for a room in a less crowded floor when checking in.
Make sure you become a member of the Presidents club for faster checkins, free Internet and complimentary chocolate or cheese plate .
Ask about parking before hand, they didn't have any all weekend for us.
Don't forget the do not disturb sign! Chamber maids walk right in
Avoid the hotel . It really does not deserve the Fairmont name. If old town stay at solplice. If downtown stay at le St Martin.
Excellent hotel
Order manhattan at the bar , it comes with a brandy snifter w ice with a spout to pour into your martini glass
Good place to stay
Sign up for the president's club before hand for free and get free wifi . I wish I had known that. :(
John Lennon & Yoko Ono had their “bed-in” here and wrote “Give peace a chance”
The front desk staff is just wonderful
Try the Homemade Gingerale with a side if Rye . The best Rye and Ginger I've ever had.
Close to everything.
Nice hotel
Crowded middling type hotel ! Not exclusive or quiet .. service is not great.
Try the brunch buffet on Sundays, excellent!
Lousy hotel . Very noisy and ghetto. Could not sleep at all as these other people next door are so noisy and their child is constantly wailing. Will never stay here again.
Rooms and bathrooms are ridiculously small. Not worth the price and doesn’t live up to the brand at all.
Excellent service !
Agak jauh dari stasiun MRA, jadi cape jalan kakinya..
