A note to the proprietor: when locking the gate to the cave , please check to see if people are still in the cave . As someone who was locked in the cave today, it's not a fun experience. Thank you!
Worth a visit while on the Island - don’t understand Sunday only comment as we were there 11am on a Friday and they were open 10-4.
This is fucking bullshit. My husband and I went inside the cave and were walking around and when we went to leave someone had locked the gate. WHILE WE WERE INSIDE.
Surprise finding. Worth checking out the little oasis within
The biggest Hawaiian cave ... When you walk around and can see lots of thing. Dont forget puplic open only 9 am to 2 pm on sunday
If you go over bridge on right before cave you can see large tortoises in enclosure
Go on Sunday to get into the cave and a docent tour
Filmed part of pirates of the Caribbean here
Wear good shoes with plenty of traction. Sandy paths with lava rock strewn in. Beautiful views and plenty of access to lower trails. - Jeremy
Good hike. A little dicey at the end if you’re afraid of heights. - David Heiser
Certainly off the beaten track. Another great beach, good for beaching! - ᴡ Dewnnon
Nice beach with a grassy area to hangout on. There is also a great restaurant. There's also a beach rental store near by if you forgot any beach essentials. - Paula Martin
