One of the coolest places to check out in the city .I try to take everyone I know here, its so full of history.Great food & the views are amazing.Come at night or at sunset.Check out Sutro Ruins nearby!
The halibut is one of their signature dishes. It’s amazing. The fudge cake is also relish and they have great cocktails . The views are stunning. It beats fisherman’s wharf any day.
The Crab-cakes are the best I’ve ever had oh...and the view was amazing
The prices are very reasonable considering the amazing view you get while dining. Def go for sunset ! The cioppino is out of this world.
The popovers are so addictive! Great with orange marmalade ! ;)
Go check out the giant camera , "camera obscura," behind the restaurant (outside). I never even knew that was there!
Do NOT leave anytime your car. Two of our windows were broken to steal our backpacks. So four bowls of soup didn’t just cost $100 it cost $1000 since we have to pay for damages. Go read Facebook post
Run around the building as fast as you can then go inside and run around the dining area as fast as you can. You will be rewarded.
Pretty casual . Thought it was more of a high end breakfast place but its not. Can tell the place have a lot of history and the interior can use a little updating.
Get the homemade strawberry shortcake ! They make their own vanilla flavored whip cream
The French onion soup smells horrible, but tastes so good!
Egg San Francisco, yummy! ????
Very nice place! Elegant! Delicious! Wonderful view !
With these views you'd think no one would care about the food, but it's actually pretty good!
Toast Adolph Sutro while enjoying the epic view . Operating in this recently-renovated building since 1909.
Crab inlet with avocado for brunch . Really good.
Johnson omelet (w/ crab ), so so... ????
Tuesday is half off the entire wine list . We hit it a few times a month for the $40/bottle veuve champagne .
Pop-overs are to die for!
Egg Benedict , not bad! ????

Joe's scramble, only ok... ????
Don't pass up the popovers !
If you go and eat at the bar , you usually don't have to wait. Their burger is really good!
The filet with truffle butter is right on the money but the crab cakes are a bit disappointing and use a little too much filling
Really nice view of the ocean
Breakfast & dessert way better than lunch & dinner
Nice view , food not worth the price or wait
Some strong drinks !
Just Walk-in
what a place, what a view on the ocean, what a sunset
