there's only three house beers (the top 3 in the drafts list if you're looking at the Dutch menu), so it's very easy to try em all. and you should!

Food: my favourite is chicken on a skewer among three dishes we ordered: chicken on a skewer , black angus steak and chicken & bacon cheeseburger . Beer : De Manke Monnik (craft beer ) is a must

Everytime we come to amsterdam, definitely come to spui and de brantse. We love the food the siders and main dishes and Witte antonio and barbar are only two of the great bears they serve here

Great local pub serving a wide range of drinks including three locally brewed beers . Service is great and it's perfectly positioned.Good is lovely too though be careful with the fries , they are spicy !

In the middle of the centre of Amsterdam with sun shine a beautiful terrace and a quality of beer on draft (which changed almost every month). The staff is friendly and informed about all the beers

It comes across as a proper touristy place, but they have a GREAT selection of beers , bottled and on tap. The barman's words of wisdom: 'have a dubbel and you'll be fucked for the rest of the night'

Nice food, I had very good ribs , good house beers (check photo) on tap and gentle service.

Probably the best beer selection a tourist can accidentially find in Amsterdam. And the food is excellent aswell. No VISA tho, Maestro only.

No soy milk , but the coffee is really good. The service wasn't awesome, but they're very busy. Sit outside in the sun and enjoy a drink

Extremely good selection of Dutch and Belgian beers . Try Waterloo double 8 dark and all the rest as well .

Try the Witte Antonia , Blonde Barbier or De Manke Monnik , all brewed at De Bekeerde Suster in Amsterdam.

In the evenings it's almost impossible to find a seat to sit, and if you do, it's also impossible to move between chairs unless you're skinny like a supermodel. Also, watch out for stairs when drunk!

Bitter Balls and also chicken with peanut sauce ...it were both delicious...

Poor service. We weren't told the specials, waitress wasn't well-informed at all, salmon was raw inside and if I wanted to have a super sweet brown sugar sauce I would have ordered a dessert . A no go.

This place is dirty , lots of mice. Wouldn't dare to eat, but it's nice with a special beer on the terrace .
