Wonderfully fun! Amazing view lights up at night. You can watch the sunset if you're on it at the right time. It's super fun for tourists and everyone! Some times there's a bit of a line but worth it.
If it's a little grey out, go- you still get a great view and less lines ! Don't put your sunglasses on top of your head if you want the photo they take of you- the glare cuts off the top of your head!
Tourist or local, you gotta do it once. It's no match for other great observation wheels around the world, but the views are still great. Get cozy with your friends in a close-quartered capsule ;)
So much fun! The weather wasn't great that day, but it made no difference - the view was still amazing! It's not that cheap that I'd do it again anytime soon. Not sure the VIP is worth it either.
The crew told us we'd go around 3x, but we got to go around 4x! We went on a beautiful sunny day. Rainier was out.View was incredible. The ride was really smooth. The car was completely enclosed.
Amazing! Was lucky enough to get to go on a sunny day. Slightly afraid of heights but made it through. Definitely check this out if you're in Seattle!
Highly recommend riding The Wheel during sunset hour. You'll get a gorgeous view of the sparkling water. Please don't skip this when you visit Seattle. All great selfies were taken here!
Can get such a great view of the city . It's up to your luck whether how many times you will get a round;)
My favorite time on the wheel is sunset . You can see everything without it being too bright and the view is gorgeous. Perfect after a day of exploring Pike Place Market !
It was fun. Awesome views ..especially when you are stopped right at the top. Had been b4. Sister & niece were in town ..it was something they' d been talking about doing when they came back to Seattle.
The view of the city lights and water at night is beautiful :) Very nice place to go if you're on a date :)
Great way to see the city and catch your breath. Each pod is air conditioned .
This is only worth it if you sit in the VIP (black) cab as the floor is made of glass and you see the sound as the cab goes out of the water.
I'm not gonna lie... I was a little scared to get on this thing. I mean, it's huge!!! But I'm really glad I did. It wasn't as scary as I thought because the cars are enclosed. Do it!
The view is really gorgeous. The cabins are so safe and the staff really nice
Don't get me wrong it's a nice wheel . But that said the long wait and the price of the ride as well the close quarters inside of the capsules (you may have to ride with other people you do not know)
The fully enclosed cars are a little claustrophobic towards the end of the ride, especially since there is no fresh air .
A little expensive , but definitely a must do when your visiting Seattle.
Great views of the city from the top, would have been more pleasant of a visit if the box we were in didn't have hvac issues. Was a sweat box!
Totally worth the money for a great view of the city !
A wonderful way to take in the city and Puget Sound! Perfect for a date night or with kids.
The wheel looks great at night. It was a fun little attraction and a cool way to get a view of the sea.
Very clean and nice. Area is otherwise a little desolate. Decent view and a novel experience. There are worse things to do with your money and kill 15 minutes of time.
A good way to take great shots of seattle from the top????????
Make sure you ask the ticket booth for VIP car . It has a glass floor, comfy seats and a television . Also comes with a T-shirts!!!
Touristy but it's still beyond breathtaking ... Friendly staff .
It is stunning - especially in the sunset .
Go during the day. You'll see more than at night. Better city skyline during the day.
View isn't too great, it's better to take a picture from the ground on the docks with it in the background.
A ride on The Great Wheel only consists of 3-4 rotations but provides incredible views of the city at night!
This was a great day in Seattle, & I'm so glad we decided to ride the Great Wheel ! Beautiful views !
Beautiful views , comfortable cabin ✨
Great idea for a date on a nice sunny day. Once everyone is loaded, you go around thrice.
If you've been to the larger/better ferris wheels in London or Singapore, then you will be disappointed. Otherwise, it's great!
It was almost 60 for a family of 3 kids and 2 adults. Not sure if I'd do it again but it was a cool tourist attraction to go on once.
Goes around a couple times with great views . Buying the picture? Worth it.
If it's clear out, the Great Wheel is worth a ride for the views alone.
If you are gay don't hold hands with your date, my friend recently got kicked off for holding hands and kissing his date and escorted off the property

I took a ride in evening. It was nice, but next time will do it in day hours
get there for sunset - short lines and wait times. great views of the sound and city !
VIP car has a glass bottom and leather seats. Plus, free drinks!
I went with my Boy Friend & we had a great time! They were very nice! We are both Men!
Buy your tickets online and try to get there before noon before the lines pile up on the weekend.
Cool and unique experience. Great views at sunset
Tried to catch the sunset but it was too cloudy. Still a nice experience.
Total tourist trap, but it’s fun. You get 3 revolutions and it takes about 15 minutes for the ride.
Really great views . I want to come back at night!!
Grab an alcoholic slushie at the bottom! It’s fun to drink and ride
Ride is super slow. Great for any age. Beautiful views of Seattle .
All kinds of goodies. Good place to go for take home gifts. - Carole Radabaugh
Fun ride. If you've been to California adventures is sub-par to soarin' but if you've never done anything like it, it's pretty good - Marisa Moran
I LOVE CAROUSELS!! The Woodland Park Carousel Is Just BEAUTIFUL!! - Carla Jean
Really cool that the city has still kept this mostly small local vendors. Definitely worth a visit, I still visit as a local! - Greg Wilcox
The pacific clambake was awesome. New England clam chowder was great too. Definitely a good seafood joint when visiting Seattle. - Andrew Gatto
Awesome view. Seafood was great. Crab dip was good, but very cream cheesy. - Jennifer Beans Meador
