Spend an afternoon checking out all of the wonderful and varied art exhibits free of charge. Some favourites were Liu Dao electric art at Island6 and SanZi paintings on a ground floor gallery .
Moganshan Road , Shanghai’s version of SoHo, New York, is a warren of warehouses turned galleries . Among the best: ShanghArt , the avant-garde OV Gallery , and photography-driven M97 Gallery .
Don't be afraid to walk into warehouses , down narrow alleys, and up stairs of sketchy buildings. Enjoy all of the art you can find and see!
M50 on Moganshan Road is the beating heart of the city ’s Chinese contemporary art movement. There’s a lot of space to explore so take your time, you might discover the next Zhang Xiaogang.
shanghai's art scene is growing as fast as its buildings. browsing the maze of galleries here is a good way to spend a few hours one afternoon.
Cool street art . Artists galleries concentrated on this road . Very artsy
Similar but smaller than 798 Art Bejing District... but, in my opinion, with more character. I like it!

There is a lot of tourist crap being sold here, so beware! One small gallery we enjoy is LWH (Lee Woon Hoe), he often introduces interesting newcomers - behind Shanghart .
