If you've ever had Halal Guys from NYC (Which should be on EVERYONE'S food bucket list)….this place is satisfactory and will somewhat satisfy your burning desires and cravings for the original.
Halal Bros is one of the most amazing and unique places I have come across in Austin. Their specialty is chicken over rice . Do try their Falafal wrap as well . You can also find Halal Guys in New York!
Yeah, the falafel over rice was absolutely excellent. I asked for the sauce on the side and I poured it on my meal and it was excellent. Best middle eastern food I've ever had in west campus.
Falafel is fantastic. Hummus is smooth and tasty. And the basmati rice is incredible!
The fries and hummus are amazing! Had the beef shawarma wrap , and it was pretty good.
Combination over rice FTW!! I like them better than the original Halal Guys in NYC to be honest!
Delicious food. However expect little meat portions, and expect to wait at least 15 minutes for your food to get ready at lunch hour.
Their chicken shawarma is so good. And the portions are large
Lamb over rice is where it's at y'all. Say hey to Mohammed (the owner) . He's a badass.
The beef shawarma was delicious, both in a wrap and over rice !
The fresh lemonade and falafel are both great!
Came at 2pm, and it took them 25 minutes to get my food to go!!!!! I saw people come and leave before me, and I reminded them twice. Love the food, but they need a better ordering system.
Chickens over rice is amazing ????????
Easily some of the best food I've had in Austin
Pretty cheap and you get a decent amount of food but simply being Halal doesn't make your food good. You're better off getting food at Kismet and avoiding the silly "red and white sauce " food meme.
The fountain drink cups are TINY and cost $1.69 so be ready for frequent refills.
Shawarma over rice is the best !!
Get the mixed platter
Get the lemonade !
Just as good as Halal Guys NYC
Pretty good but definitely not as good as The Halal Guys in NYC !
Worst place and worst customer service. Called in an order, they gave me the wrong food, then tried to make drive 20 minutes back to them in the freezing cold to verify when I had pictures of it! BAD!
Chicken sharwma ????????????

The meals served over rice are extremely large and extremely salty.
The Halal Bros
Falafel !!!
the food here is sooo good, but my friend and i both suffered from terrible stomachaches for the rest of the day after eating here. stay away if you have a sensitive stomach!
Había querido probar estos bowls desde hace mucho y la verdad es que fue lo que esperaba. El plato de shawarma de cordero muy rico y todo por 13 dólares.
Combo plate! Good food for a cheap price. Quality is not *amazing*, but GREAT for the price. Nice unassuming atmosphere. - B
Swing by for Mediterranean specialties, but make sure you don't leave without trying their homemade breaks and baklava. We also recommend the Zatar Bread. - Cooking Channel
Delicious, just make sure you're ready for sweet and ready to dig in (ideally as a group). Any given order is 1,200-2,000 calories, easy. - Hari Raghavan
