Eating babi guling (Balinese roast suckling pig ) at Ibu Oka is a must do when traveling to Bali, Indonesia. It is the most delicious roasted pork you will ever eat!
Pork skin is good - crispy . A little thick. Sausage is blood Sausage and not very nice. Spicy too. Soup is tasty but needs salt. Fried pork is very delicious. Pork meat is as tender as chicken , tasty
Go around 11am & watch them prepare the food. It can get a bit crowded but you'll be we'll rewarded with their delicious dish. Not to be missed when visiting Ubud.
Good babi guling but the skin was quite oily and could be much crispier. Meat was tender and juicy. Sausage and deep fried croquettes were delicious. The soup was so simply yet so flavourful.
Sit at the bar and ask for the Spesial . Enjoy a greeny relaxing view and a delicious local dish. Service is kind and fast. Uber recommended.
The pork is really good and recommended. Unfortunately it's too spicy . Also a lot dishes were sold out at 13:00. Bummer!
Used to eat here once in a whileover two decades for its tasty food and excellent ambience. No more, food is blunt and the eating area after reconstruction is a big hall best for bus groups.
Ok the place drains tourists from the whole earth but food is great, cheap and heavenly spicy . Don't be late as they close the doors as soon as the pig is entirely eaten: best to come at 11.30am.
a must visit place for spicy culinair lover. usually packed of guest. and the stock usually last at 2 pm. ask for extra crispy skin and extra sambal - which will boost your day :)
All foodies will definitey come here to try the fame crispy pig in Ubud. But having had it twice on different occasions, I can only confirm that I am not a fan. It's just a been there, done that.
If you are in Bali, this place is worth going out of the way for. But you should make a trip to Ubud anyway, because there is much to see and do.
Must try for newcomers! While the crispy pork may be as good as everywhere else in Bali, its 'bumbu' or spice makes it really delicious! Just a stone throw away from the Tourist Information Office
Delicious pork and great pickled chilli . The actual restaurant is quite large and comfortable , nicer than what I was expecting!
The Babi Guling is top notch. Love the sauce that goes on top. Order the Gorengan (crispy fried pork ). You'll surely love it!
Sry, biggest disappointment during my trip to Bali. Growing up eating pork in Malaysia, I really don't understand why everyone says this is a must have.
Best babi guling (suckling pig ) in town . My favorite was clearly the fried one. The sausage is not my type ????
Considering a lunch plate costs $3, it is pretty awesome value / taste combination ... Go to the "house" down the street for a nicer atmosphere where you can enjoy the food more
Had a 'pisah' meal. Enjoyed every bit of it. Very generous portion of pork .
Its a must place to eat when in Bali, come earlier to avoid crowd
Get the "Special" which has all the things and a large Bintang for a perfect and inexpensive lunch .
A plate of happiness! Pairing it with beer . Must visit
Separated contens for 70k, mixed for 55k, meat for 55k, and skin for 60k. Good value good taste but not as I expected.
Just get the pork . Not the fried or the skin or the sausage or the soup . The pork is tender and flavourful.
Delicious but the screams of the slaughtered piglets resonating from the back of the restaurant are a little off-putting. Take out perhaps?
Always so crowded coming here on holidays, but defo one of the best babi guling in Bali

special portion of Ibu Oka suckling pig is so delicate, yum succulent meat and i love the rich spices of it :)
For the area, this place is really good. Don't forget to add a little black ketchup with your pig !
Yummy as always. Get there early before the lunch crowd arrives.
Shadow of its former self. The crowds thronging this outlet are long gone. Babi guling here was ok but seems locals are headed to another place east of Ubud these days for their babi guling fix.
All is good in the pig , the special is indeed great. Good and cheap !
100 out of 100comments are positive here x) Full house in the early morning, packed with crowd... A famous one. :)
Order the special . It has everything...
Inexpensive and real delicious (a bit spicy but it's ok)
Went there over the hype, the meat is tender but I'm missing what made Babi guling special "the spice"! Perhaps this was made to accommodate the tourist
Service a bit slow due to the crowds, but well worth the try
Good food apart didnt like the sausage and the soup was cold maybe because we came late afternoon will try in the morning
Loved the fried pork chips . Basically good stuff :)
Come early.. They open up at 11.00AM and by almost 2.00PM.., all left is only meat. No crispy skin nor urutan anymore
It feels like eating in a slaughter house ... some kind of animal crying at the back
Watch the delivery of a whole babi guling at around 12:30 pm at the Jl. Suweta branch.
Recommended by Lonely Planet, but don't expect any transcendental experience, it was just OK. Food was good (go for Spesial ), staff was a bit unfriendly and bored. Good for quick lunch .
Very unique taste and nice suckling pig ! I took the special and satisfied with it!
The so called must eat Babi Guling is overrated~ packed with tourists ~
You should try pork skin . Delicious but sooo unhealthy
I've been there because of good recommendations, but I don't like so much. The main dish is really bad and nothing special. My Chinese friend doesn't like too.
I have never eaten pork , but this is very nice pork
Been here a few times. Live the pork meat and skin with gravy .
One of the best suckling pig in Bali. Always crowded though.
Nasi Babi Guling Spesial , must try!
