Epic. The ambience is at once lively , elegant, casual , warm, inviting and fun The food choices, preparation and presentation are world class . The service is everything service should be. Awesome.

Though the menus don't always note it, they're very veggie/vegan-friendly and can whip up something du jour based on seasonal produce or modify virtually anything on the menu.

Go with the tasting menu so you get to try more things. And the cocktails are superb too.

Hope you are lucky enough to go on a day were they are serving the 36 day dry aged wagyu flat iron. Best steak I have ever consumed including much more expensive filets!

New Restaurant opens in Tuesday September 20 at 5 pm. This is another Essence eatery (Bistro Bella Vita, Green Well ) and practices farm-to-table sourcing.

Barry is the best server! Fun and friendly . I NEVER pick my meals. Just relax and let him bring you dinner , he is an expert.

The tasting menu is recommended - smaller portions that let you sample the many different and delicious options...

The food was good, went on a Saturday, sat outside on the cold, ordered the 3course special, waited 45 min between courses, too much to wait between meals, I advise just order a la carte.

Excellent food. The Sunday $28 three course special is well worth the price. Definitely a repeat.

If you sit by the bar , you can say goodbye to any service. Over 45 minutes wait for main course. Food is delicious though. Do try fried green tomatoes .

You owe it to yourself to try their cheese plates ; they're inventive, delicious and gorgeously-plated.

The blini is the perfect dessert for fall. I'd also recommend getting coffee with it; it's a great compliment.
