Get a little exercise & bring your bike . Gate closed M-F but w/ your bike , easy access to the park & you'll have the place to yourself. A reminder of how close, yet far apart , neighbors really are.
The park is located on the border of San Diego and Tijuana. Many visitors come to just to see the fence that runs from the land into the sea. The park overlooks the beach as well as Mexico.
Go for the breathtaking view up San Diego Bay from the southwestern most point in the United States (lower 48).
Ask border patrol to let you in to see the monument at the actual border line .
