National chain, I know. But... the staff is always cheerful and quick. Definitely Deaf friendly . Be there Mondays from 4 - 6:00 pm to chat with local Deafies and Hearing signers alike.
If you try the new orange cold refresher drink and you're in your 40s, I have one word for you: TANG. That said, my kids are gonna love this one!

The only coffee shop around here open before 6am that's not your own kitchen. One of the baristas always says "have fun" after you pay :)
Get double espresso to go, and sit in the park across the street and watch the Kristophers having their morning lattes .
