Quite possibly the best donuts I've had. Get the dark chocolate sea salt , you won't be sorry. Old fashioned , cinnamon sugar , and lemon were also excellent. Great iced coffee too (coffee ice cubes !)

PureWow

These doughnuts are made from roasted, hand-peeled sweet potatoes . They’re both quirky and delicious, which is exactly what you should expect when in Portland. Read more

Road tripping through Maine stopped in Portland. Bacon maple donut was delicious. Worthy of a spot on the top donut places along with our favorites from closer to home (NYC) Dough and Peter Pan.

Dave B

If you enjoy donuts I recommend stopping here if you are in Portland. Great place, very crowded but worth the wait! Being mostly Irish, the potato donuts they make are just out of this world!

OMG-fresh, light & un-greasy tasting Holy Donuts : Blueberry , Coconut , Triple Berry , & Coffee Brandy-made w/ Maine potatoes , pure cane sugar , unbleached flour, fruit juices  & dark Belgian chocolate

Daniel Fernandez

Mojito donut has refreshingly awesome lime/mint infused frosting that will change your perspective on what a donut should be. The texture is dense yet light on your stomach thanks to the potato mix.

Pamela Laskey

Light and fluffy donuts made from riced potatoes ! You can't go wrong here, but we love the traditional "old fashioned ". They close when they sell out, so GET HERE EARLY!

MaryEllen Coleman

I'm not a doughnut person, but I love this place. The doughnuts are not too sweet, come in unusual flavors, and are filling.

Tyler Murphy

Any of the donuts , even the gluten free ones, are out of this world! I especially love the maple glazed.

Kim

Amazingly delicious gluten free donuts (get the chocolate sea salt ), perfectly made lattès with various milk choices (including almond )!

Amber Groenhout

Potato donuts sound so interesting and taste soo good ❤️ Be carefull with the salted chocolate if you're not sure if you like the sweet/salty combination. A little too salty for me. Loved the others!

Elly

Misshapen potato donuts are superior. Especially liked the Blueberry Lemonade but you can't go wrong.

David Holtz

These donuts are amazing and filling - you'll be stuffed after 1-2. The ginger glazed donuts were heavenly.

Amanda Thompson

These donuts are absolutely incredible! They're all very moist, flavorful, and they just melt in your mouth! I recommend trying my favorites the dark chocolate sea salt donut and the bacon cheddar !

Beth S.

Take a sunrise tour of Casco Bay and you're guaranteed to be first in line for donuts . Maple bacon was my fav.

Gregory Xethalis

While simple, the old fashioned donut is amazing. The chocolate sea salt is good, then ridiculous when you get that slight hit of salt. Get there early!

Alex Still

Quite the line forms in the morning for this place. I'd say the donuts are a bit of an acquired taste as they have potato in the dough , but a great spot to check in for a quick doughnut and coffee .

Ken Johnson

The Sea Salted Chocolate donut , plus the numerous other flavour choices of donuts . The coffee and tea are good but the donuts are the Holy Ones Amen.

JP

Potato Donut , sounds weird but take a bite of one of their dark chocolate sea salt donuts and you'll never want to go back to regular donuts

Anne R

Dark chocolate sea salt . If I could drive here every morning from NJ for one, I would in a heartbeat. Most amazing thing I've ever eaten.

Max Brautigam

The lemon donuts are so good! But be careful -- they often run out of everything and have to close early! (That's how good these donuts are)

Carmen N

Sample around, get a box. Maine blueberry , maple bacon , pomegranate , dark chocolate sea salt , cinnamon sweet potato ...

Jennifer Boner

Dark chocolate sea salt and maple glazed were delicious! Coffee was great too. Wish I could’ve tasted more!

Matt S

Coffee & Brandy donut was great, potato donuts were thicker and so much more satisfying, great place

Rick Totton

Fantastic donuts made with real Maine mashed potatoes . Many varieties. One of the best donuts you'll ever eat.

Kathleen Vargas

Potato donuts with awesome selections. Maple bacon is really good. Come in early cause they sell out quick

jessica jaworski

Amazing donuts . The iced coffee is good too! They take credit cards . Loved the lemon donut best.

Rachel Slurs

Dark chocolate sea salt donut . Best donut I've ever had. They sell out of donuts by mid afternoon. Go!

Kelly L

The chocolate glazed was the most flavorful! Love the texture of these. Not a ginger taste in the sweet potato sugar..

Sean Nelson

The Dark Chocolate Sea Salt was excellent. So moist, and just enough salt taste to know it's there — not overwhelming.

Julia Wallingford

I had the dark chocolate sea salt donut and it is easily the best donut I've ever had. A+++

If you order the half dozen, make sure you are splitting it with a few people. The donuts are super filling! Try out the maple bacon for sure

Loved the consistency of these donuts . Give the dark chocolate sea salt a try!

Wendy Lin

Dark chocolate sea salt...and you can taste the potato (in an oddly pleasant way)

Al S

I appreciate that they always have at least one vegan donuts option.

Maine apple was delish..crowded tiny place, bougie, vegan donuts from potatoes

They run out of donuts fast, vanilla donuts are just ok so make sure you get some funky flavors for the full experience.

Amazing dounuts! The crab raspberry is out of this world!

Jon Goldmann

Get fat, these potato flour donuts are worth it. Surprise flavor favorite: Apple
