All share plates. Friendly staff . Seatings are not comfortable . Food is amazing. My favorites are the grilled octopus salad , burrata heirloom tomatoes , sweet potato agnolotti , cheese ravioli . ????
First of all this place is good in everything. Coffee is amazing, dishes were outstanding! Before i forget, this place was ranked 2nd in the chocolate cakes in the whole LA area! Mushroom toast ????????????
French toast was to die for!! It was magnificent. The the beef brisket Sandwich was juicy, flavourful and damn good. The atmosphere was relaxed / casual . Cozy , crowded , well lit cafe with great food.
Everything was great.. bakeries were awesome, and the food is really delicious, i went there for breakfast , tried the egg benedict which is fantastic, avocado toast is nice..
Get in order from menu/pastries pay, take ur number & find a table they will bring the food to u. French toast is to die for similar to Alan Ducasse’s, coffee & lobster omelette were excellent.
Amazing food here. Brunch is a best kept secret. Order from the counter and then sit anywhere in the whole restaurant . Love the eclectic rice porridge with pork and egg . The Stickybomb is insane. Try.
Chef Margarita Manzke is Filipino & incorporates many flavors typically found in Filipino cuisine into a lot of her dishes. Housed in a stunning building which was the original home to La Brea Bakery
Normandy butter and baguette is the best deal on the menu (they will continue to bring bread as long as you ask). Steak tartare , agnolotti and short ribs were outstanding. Great ambiance!
The space feels built for a laissez-faire breakfast , brunch , or lunch . Light spills in beautifully, even when it's cloudy outside. Try the excellent shakshuka or the indulgent mushroom toast .
Everything is unbelievably delicious and authentically French. This was the highlight of my stay in LA. Can’t wait to come again. Make sure you show up early to avoid a long waiting time.
I had a delicious brunch with my friend today !! We order the kimchi fried rice and this salmon bruschetta . Both were really delicious. I can't wait to return to République, and try other plates !
Favorited the savory beignets and pork belly with caviar . Menu changes daily. Longed more for dessert . Excellent dining atmosphere, at dinner no music , just festive chatter- oh with wine .
Because of the quality of the breads and baked goods , we'd recommend brioche French toast , salmon tartine with avocado , and the classic croque madame are just a few of the stand outs on the menu. Read more

There's so much goodness in this menu that it's often hard to decide what to order. The baked pastries are always a solid choice and the Shakshouka is always fireeee. So are their baked breads .
Amazing place, the french toast is huge perfect one, better than all i ever tasted, shakshoka too much tomato sauce , omelet nice but the side salad nothing special about it.Almond coffee latte ????????.
Great atmosphere- lively , communal tables , good energy. All share plates, so great for groups . Order the mushroom pappardelle , beet and avocado salad , bread & butter (trust me), uni toast .
Aged ribeye was really, really good but we fell for the Capresse Salad (French style )... they have a 2000+ wine list ... Staff was amazing, friendly , helpful... Thanks for everything Felipe!
Special of the night wood burning oven baked lasagna : thick al dente noodles with mozzarella and mushrooms in a buttery sauce that created a harmony of taste and texture. May be best pasta in LA!
Fresh juice , coffee , fresh bread & pastries , homemade jams , &must try bacon and eggs makes my list of top breakfast spots . Lunch & dinner is okay too. The move here is to go early & avoid the lines .
Lively and loud hotspot full of LA hipsters . All of the dishes were outstanding with my favorite being the short rib , black truffle pappardelle and roasted chicken .
Sure everyone has had chicken but never this juicy, never this flavorful. Pasta and bread made fresh daily. The savory celery kicks it all the way up with serrano. Great looking space.
You have to order before sitting and they’ll bring you your food. Food was fantastic and pretty. Get the Gioiella Ricotta Toast the potato pancake , and a side of potatoes .
Delicious start to finish. Not a single complaint. The bartenders make really good old fashioned too the foie gras was to die for. Make RSVP for dinner if you don't want the bar .
Hands down best meal I’ve had in LA & possibly best brunch I’ve had anywhere. Atmosphere, staff & food are all superb. Super fresh and creative dishes & delicious pastry . Salmon Benedict , French toast
Came for brunch and yum! Usually don’t like brunch cause it’s basic. The interior is cool and gorgeous. Get the kimchi fried rice , French out, and croque madame . The pastry bar is beautiful to look at

That duck breast was perfection. Make sure to get a cranberry with every bite. The old fashioned was also really good. Sit at the bar to watch bartenders do their thing. Make reservations for dinner .
Yummy light and fresh morning cocktails , the green smoothie was delicious, and the avocado toast with egg bacon and burrata was perfect for breakfast . Great place for a light snack or hearty meal .
One of the amazing breakfast i ever tasted. They serves an Authentic and Delicious food. Coffee , French toast , desserts and pastries all are super tasty.Nice Place. Feels so good here. Great service.
The Rotisserie Chicken is packed with flavor and juicy to the last bite, it's served with fingerling potatoes , black kale , and chicken jus as a foundation.
Mmm. Still thinking about that ricotta toast with grapefruit and pistachios . It’s a long wait but it’s worth it. Be sure to grab a ???? for later!
Oh the pastries , oh the pastries . The creme brule bomboni was out of this world. And the cinnamon bun . Eggs benedict and the chorizo plate were ok.
Fun place w/awesome food. Their pain au chocolat was great. Looking forward to coming back and trying more. FYI for brunch you order at the front and seat yourselves. Makes life easy on a quiet day.
Visited for my 21st bday and ordered the chicken and waffles brunch . Sooo tasty! The chicken was wonderfully juicy and crunchy. The gravy was also superb. They even gave us treats for the long wait !
Perfect for breakfast - order at the counter and wait at a table in the well lit dining room. Breakfast sandwich is delicious but heavy. The pastries are superb.
Very first time i have tasted such delicious & uniquely made pastries that are so delightful. They also served an authentic frenchfood & amazing seafood . Perfect place for chilling & enjoy tasty food.
The place has its amazing atmosphere, the decorations, food , service all worth trying. I tried the egg benedict , and the quiche and both were so good also the belgian waffle
Can confidently say that, of all breakfast spots in LA, this is my # 1. Their french toast and omelette is to die for. Shakshoka is 2/10
My all time fave place for pastries almost anywhere in the world. This place is UNDEFEATED. I never come here only wanting one pastry and there’s never anything I eat that isn’t less than spectacular!
Delicious food in a nice and trendy setting. The jambon buerre sandwiches scrumptious as is the chicken . Well worth trying it out if in the area.
the best french toast i’ve ever tried in my life the taste is so heavenly crunchy from the edges and soft from the inside! and also the Mushroom toast is amazing
Everything. Delish bucatini , amazingly sweet corn agnolotti , killer heirloom tomato/bursts salad , great cauliflower , and some killer Normandy butter to spread all over my bread .
Such a beautiful place!!! I have a great time for my bday dinner ! All the staff is very friendly ! The meal is outstanding

They had an amazing brown butter oatmeal cookie that just melts in your mouth and a really great Croque Madame ! Skip the chai though, it didn’t give as much flavor as I had anticipated.
